I was so mad at her. I can't believe my twin sister could be so hateful and jealous. I've grown up with her, and she's always been the nicer one, even when I was impatient, she wasn't. We wouldn't get in fights that I started, and she ended peacefully. Now she was the instigator and I couldn't believe what just happened.
Hayes said before that he didn't mind talking to people at school about all the vine fame and all the meeting girls stuff, but he would never have a meet and greet in the middle of lunch.
I walked over to Kaylee.
"Um what do you think you're doing?" I questioned as calmly as I could.
"I'm making some money. I needed about two-hundred bucks for a new wardrobe, since I can't share a closet with a selfish witch anymore." Kaylee exclaimed, almost proud.
"Good! I'm proud of you for getting your own stuff and not trying to take something that is rightfully mine anymore!" I stormed off and went to the locker room to change into my cheer practice clothes. I pulled my hair into a ponytail and tied a perfect bow. I always seemed to do things perfectly when I was angry.
Cheer didn't start for another 20 minutes because some of the girls are usually late, so I got a head-start. I ran three miles on the track without stopping or even walking at all. Which was not a good idea because I had very mild asthma that acted up when I ran more than a couple of miles.
I sat one of the benches on the football field while the other girls filed in the gate and ran their mile in one big group. My coach walked over to me.
"You okay?" She asked, seeming genuinely concerned. "I saw what happened during lunch."
"Yes ma'am I'm okay." And then I realized that I left Hayes. With Kaylee. "I just remembered that I have something I needed to take care of for Hayes. Is it okay if I miss conditioning today?"
"Well, since you've never missed a practice and you're my number one cheerleader I guess you can miss one day of crunches and running." Coach Hanes laughed.
"Okay thank you so much Coach!" I yelled as I ran through the gate and back up the steep hill to the school. I ran inside and grabbed my phone from my cheer bag. I started walking towards the courtyard, when someone grabbed my backpack from behind.
"You shouldn't go out there." I couldn't tell who just whispered this to me. "Because the boy you're looking for-" the creepy voice suddenly changed to the most adorable and recognizable laugh I've ever heard. It was Hayes. He was happy.
"I'm really sorry about K!" I managed to mumble before Hayes kissed me once on the lips (ooh scandalous).
"Stop apologizing. You're two different people. And just because your sister is evil and would rather you die than you end up with me doesn't mean I love you any less Jo." Hayes whispered, trying to keep from smiling like a fool.
