Your sneezes, three consecutive ones in a row to be exact, filled the air as you scrambled out from below the desk you'd been 'hiding' under for the last hour.

"Bless you." Wooyoung crawled out after you, smirking when you threw him a dirty look, hand pressed tight over both your mouth and nose as if that would stop any more sneezes.

Which it did, but you couldn't tell if your hand had anything to do with that.

"Just go get your books." You muttered back, finally dropping your hand and shoving it out against his shoulder, sending him teetering off balance.

You were pretty sure that was just for show, because you'd barely put any strength behind the push and even if you had, he was nearly twice your height and bulk, there was almost no way that he could nearly fall over from a small push.

"Help, I've been wounded." He whined dramatically, casting you a wounded look and slapping his hand over his heart, jerking on the spot like he'd been shot.

You groaned and looked away from him, cheeks flaming red.

Sometimes you hated that you had a crush on one of the most flirtatious guys in the school.

Scratch that, all the time you hated it.

But you'd been friends, best friends, with Wooyoung for more years than you could count on one hand now and it had only been the last year that you'd had feelings for him. You were positive that with time they would fade back into the comfortable friendship that you'd always had with him.

You weren't about to ruin six years of friendship over a crush that meant nothing. It was normal for people to crush on someone they spent the majority of their time with, especially when that person was the one they trusted with every secret or gross fact about them.

"Come with me." Wooyoung poked your shoulder, wriggling his eyebrows at you, trying to earn a smile out of you. You refused to give him on, fixing him with the blankest, coldest look you could manage.

"No, I'm gonna stay right here thanks." You replied, dragging your gaze away from him when his plump lips turned out in a soft pout.

There were few things that swayed your decisions, very few. But Wooyoung's pout paired with his wide eyes never failed to get to you, even before you'd developed these ridiculous feelings for him.

"Why won't you come with me? It's not like it's a long walk." You could tell by the tone of his voice that he was still pouting and hence you peered down at your shoes, like they were the most interesting thing you'd ever seen.

"I just don't want to Woo, why do you care? Like you said, it's not a long walk and you're just going to get your books. I'll still be here when you come back, what's the big deal?" He was silent for a moment and you looked up, blinking in surprise at the distant look on his face.

"Yeah, you're right." He nodded, shoving his hands so deep into his pockets that for a moment you were worried he'd actually rip right through the inner material.

His sudden change in attitude made your head hurt, because it wasn't the first time he'd acted like this lately. More times than you cared to think about he'd gone from teasing you to looking and acting like this.

You didn't understand it and truthfully you were too scared to even try to ask him about it. He didn't like talking to you about his feelings, it was the only part of your friendship that was lacking.

"Best friend?" You poked his wrist, keeping your tone light. His face scrunched up and he glanced at you, a slight crease furrowing between his brows.
