Chapter 2

Levi never slept once, but Seven did. Seven was fast asleep within twenty minutes of trying to stay up with Levi. Coming out from the bunk area was Kiefer, Knox, and Nico. All three looked as if they didn’t get enough sleep. Nico went to sit beside Levi trying to rub the sleep from his eyes. Kiefer went straight for the coffee maker they had one the bus and started making some coffee, while Knox went to go sit on Seven who was sprawled out on the other seat. As he did so, everyone could hear the little ‘oaf’ that came out of Seven’s mouth.

“Get off man, you ain’t exactly light,” Seven had just enough breath to comment on what just happen. Knox got off Seven and when he was finally up plopped right back down in the same spot where Seven’s belly was placed.

Seven looked over to his best friend, “I know we’re close and all, but I really don’t want to be attached to your side this early in the morning.”

“It’s quarter after two,” Levi spoke with tiredness evident in his voice.

“Hey did anyone see my shoe?” Novah asked all while holding his right shoe. Every just shook their heads in ‘no’ manner. Novah threw his shoe back towards his space of bunk instead of turning around like normal people he just threw hitting Milo in the head.

“Dude really?” Milo was rubbing his head went sitting at the table, but ended up getting back up because he forgot to pour himself a cup of Joe. Theo was always the last to come out of sleeping, not even bothering to say anything he just poured himself some coffee and sat down.

Levi just watched everyone doing what needs to be done when they first get up. Levi was already dressed for today’s events. They had an interview on the radio, meet and greet with fans in the mall and then finally having some time to do warm ups for the show. They were going to have a photo shoot, but Alex their manager said it wasn’t enough time for them to themselves. That’s what they liked about Alex, he never tried to overworked them and nor did he treat them like a fast fortune getter. Sure the bands singles were made it to the top ten on the billboard.

Levi hated doing photo shoots, but what hated even more, was having to do interviews. He liked the other things, it just those two things that he felt uncomfortable with. Though fans find him good looking, he never felt it and he was always afraid of one of the interviewer would ask him about his family or his early years.

“So what’s on your schedule for today?” Milo asked Kiefer. Levi was listening to the conversation and it’s not like they mind anyways.

“Interview, meet and greet at a mall and then rehearsal,” Kiefer was always the one to make everything seem likes it simple, he was the kind of guy that goes with the flow, but also know not push boundaries.

“You what sucks about this whole thing?” Seven mumbled catching everyone’s attention.

“What?” Levi was curious as to why Seven would blurt out something like he did.

“It sucks because every time I get up I have to see that,” Seven pointed to Novah and Nico who once again making out on the couch. The two pulled away fast and both going pink, “and on top of that. It doesn’t help that I hear them have sex late at night. When they think everyone is asleep. Hell I would take one of Levi’s sleeping pills if I knew where they where?” Nova and Nico were both red from embarrassment of getting caught.

Novah and Nico have been going out for about a year now. No one cared about it, everyone knew that Nico and Levi are gay. Novah is bisexual along with Knox, Seven and Milo. No one really knew about Theo though because he was never seen with a girl or guy. Everyone just thinks he’s asexual. Kiefer was the only straight person on the bus, but he didn’t care about his friend’s sexuality and besides he was engage to his long time girlfriend, Aviva.

“They’re on the top shelf in the kitchen area,” Levi decide to take the focus off the two red faces couple, “and beside’s it’s not like I use them anyway.”

“Why is that anyway?” Nico had to ask, hell everyone on the bus wonder why he didn’t take them. Levi didn’t even bother to answer instead looked outside just in time to see that they were getting close to their destination. Without even knowing it he drifted off to dreamland while still awake.

Flashback

“Please help me I’m your brother help me,” Levi screamed at his brother for help. In his brother’s room was handful of the football team, well the staring players that is.

“Half brother,” Markus and Uri just watched what their fellow teammates did the young fourteen year old Levi. He was defenceless against them. He knew that, the team knew that, hell even younger kids knew that about him.

Markus spoke again, “besides your nothing, but a shame to this family. No one cares about you anyways.”

“Yeah you’re nothing, but a fag,” Uri add to the conversation. After that was said Levi didn’t even bother to beg or make a sound. He just took it. There was something that did make Levi turn his head back to look at his half brother only to see that his eyes were red like he was about to cry and Uri was looking anywhere, but at what the scene that was playing out before him.

End of Flashback

Someone touched Levi’s face wiping away tears that had escaped. Pushing the hands away Levi wiped his tear soaked face with his sleeve.  When he was done he saw that everyone was looking at him.

“What?” trying to play it off as nothing happen Levi played dumb.

“What’s wrong Lev?” Kiefer had been trying for years to get Levi to open up to him.

“Nothing,” Levi simply refused to talk about it.

“I just wnat to help, whatever it is I’ll help you get through it. You know that,” the whole bus was silent, “how long have we know each other?”

Levi scrunched up his brows in confusion, why would Kiefer even ask that question? Instead of questioning it any further Levi answered, “five years.” It came out quietly, but Levi answered it.

“Yeah that’s right five years we have known each other, but all that we know about you is that you use to do drugs and that you ran away from home. Hell I even followed you out of the apartment each time you left just to make sure that if did go buy drugs that you wouldn’t overdose. I was scared for you, we all were. We trust you with our deepest secrets because we all knew that you wouldn’t tell anyone,” Kiefer was practically trying to break Levi’s walls, “so just for once trust us?”

“Whatever it is? It was enough to cause you to pop those pills like they’re candy. Hell you’ve been having more anxiety attacks ever since you found out were heading here,” Theo spoke from where he was sitting. That was the only thing he didn’t like about Theo. Theo was very observant especially towards him.

Before anyone could say something, the bus stopped Alex and Duke came on the bus telling everyone to hurry up. Since they were almost late everyone dropped the discussion, which relieved Levi. This is gonna be a long day and not to mention night. Levi knew Kiefer wouldn’t push on the matter, but not the others. Knox and Novah would ask questions about his past. He didn’t know about Milo, Nico, Seven and Theo.
