Chapter 3

Walking down the stairs, well more like running a young boy with black with a big chunk of dyed lime green strip hair went running into the kitchen of his home. Taking a seat at the table the boy proceeded to eat his breakfast as fast he could.

“Hey slow down,” his mother scowled him when she turned from the stove to see him shoving down his eggs and toast.

“Mom you’ve got to be kidding me. Today is the day I get to see me two most favourite heroes of all time and not to mention the two best bands that ever lived,” the boy was obsessed with the his favourite two bands he knew everything about them.

“I know you’re just lucky it’s Friday and that I’m letting you skip school,” she went back to finishing the rest of the breakfasts for her and her husband. The front door open and then closed. Coming into the kitchen was a man in his early twenties. He went up the young boy’s mother and kissed her cheek.

“Morning mom,” then he went to the table stealing a piece of toast from his younger brother’s plate, “Morning squirt.”

“Morning Markus! Don’t forget we have to pick up Emerson and Sparrow”

“Yeah, yeah you only told me a million times already and besides I have to pick up Ajay anyways,” he got up since he saw his younger brother was done eating and was already running out the door to hop into the car. Markus watched his younger brother just sitting there with a faraway look. Shaking his head he went walking to his car before getting out their mother was at the front door watching calling out, “Markus look after him and don’t lose him.” With a wave of his hand Markus was letting her know that he heard her.

“Will you hurry you slower than a turtle,” the boy yelled at him.

After some lots of begging from the passenger Markus pulled into a driveway. Coming out of the house was another man in his early twenties. Getting in he looked in the back seat to see the young boy who was all smiles.

“Are you excited there Darius?”

“Hell yeah! Now here up and let’s go pick up the last two,” Darius yelled at Markus. Darius was anxious because he final gets to see Crashing Empire and Days Unknown up close. Not only that he was going to get their autographs and what better way to spend his Friday then head to the big city with his big brother and his boyfriend along with his two best friends. Darius looked in front to Markus and Ajay holding hands. Sometimes he wished he can have relationship like theirs.

Twenty minutes later after picking up Sparrow, who was best friend since middle school, then finally picking up Emerson everyone thought she was he just by hearing her name. Not Darius he thought it was a girl and turned out to be right. He didn’t become friends with her until junior high.  They were finally on their way to city.

Darius was so excited that from the night before that he didn’t sleep, so ended falling asleep. He was awaken an hour an half later.

“Hey Dar we have to start lining up before the line gets too big,” Sparrow whispered in his ear. Popping up, dazed at first, looking around he saw that they were already at the mall. He got of the car as soon it stopped. He grab hold of Sparrow and Emerson hands not bothering to wait for Markus and Ajay. The two were suppose to be their chaperones for this little trip.

“Should we catch up?” Ajay asked his lover.

“Nah we’ll just go on the second level and watch them from there,” taking hold of Ajay’s hand they walked into the mall to watch the crazy event that was going to take place.

Markus looked at Ajay as they stood on the second level keeping their eyes on the three young teenagers they brought. Markus couldn’t believe how lucky he was to have such a wonderful boyfriend despite the two years difference between the two. He loved Ajay and nothing can ruin this relationship he worked hard for it. Nothing.
