Lily City, City Hall

"I don't think that's appropriate or safe, Rosalind." The Mayor, Aiko Masami, lectured her daughter, #1 idol in Lily City, Rosalind Masami.
"Mom. The cities in turmoil now that the Sages are gone. Everyone's scared and some speech isn't going to help," she made tiny lights come out from her palms, "the city needs a distraction! Something extravagant! My performance!"
"I understand, Rosalind. But, the citizens are trashing the city and their not stopping. You performing is a danger in itself. You could get hurt."
"I can protect myself, mother!" Aiko got up from her seat obviously annoyed,
"I said, no, Rosalind. I'm not changing my answer." The two of them had a staredown, neither one faltering. Their magic power clashed but eventually, Aiko was able to blast Rosalind out of the room,
"UGH!!" she cried out as the doors shut. Rosalind stomped out of the city hall and ignored the fires, tipped over cars and smashed windows. Rosalind and her mother's relationship isn't the best. Aiko thinks her daughter should focus more on her Mysticism magic and becoming the new mayor but Rosalind hasn't the slightest interest in that. She's an Idol, the best one in the whole city, and her ancient magic is what helped her. The mother-daughter hatred is ripe. As Rosalind made her way to the Performance Hall she cursed her mother. "ARGH!" A man charged at her and without giving him a glance he was pushed away.

The Grand Performance Hall

Rosalind blasted open the door, taking them off their hinges, alerting everyone. "I'll fix that later, but right now we have a show to prepare." Her staff scurried around the stage preparing everything. She made her way backstage and was met by her songwriter and best friend, Daichi Kobayashi.
"Rosa, I wrote this new song for you to sing."
"Hum me the tune." She ordered, looking into her outfit and makeup. He did as he was told before he was interrupted by the director, Angus Forth,
"Rosaaa!!~ Welcome back! Are you performing tonight?"
"Yes, Angus. Give out fliers. Tonight at 8 p.m." Angus smiled nervously and asked,
"Is this really the best time for this, Rosa? The cities in turmoil-"
"I said I was performing, Angus." She pushed past him. Angus and Daichi gave each other a look of worry.

The Nyā Residence

Kimoto and Koko sat inside Kimoto's house. Her siblings running around with different animals.
"Outside the walls? How could Mira survive out there!? We don't even know what's out there. They could be-" "Koko. Calm down. Mira isn't alone, and she didn't have much of a choice...I bet she was terrified." Kimoto tried to comfort Koko. Kimoto's mother and father walked into the house with bags of food, "It's crazy out there." her mother growled,
"People are completely overreacting about our situation." her father joined in.
"Their confusion is understandable though, what if the Sages never come back...and with the New Sages gone Lily City would have to start over..." Kimoto listened to Koko not sounding like her normal, cheery self and shot up, "Koko, let's go." "Huh? Go where?" Before she was given an answer Koko was pulled along.

"The Sages go missing and the one leader we have doesn't do anything after five hours? Seems suspicious right?" Kimoto asked running alongside Koko, "Uh, I guess?" "Maybe she's in trouble!" "So, that's where we're going?" "Ye- watch out!" Kimoto and Koko rolled to the ground as somebody crashed into a wall. "Are you okay?" Kimoto and Koko coughed as the smoke cleared. Finn was embedded into the wall, "ouch..." "He looks familiar.." "Isn't he the one always with-" Itari crashed into the same wall as Finn but stayed standing. He glanced at Finn and sighed, "Imbecile." "Itari Dāku?" Kimoto asked, "Kimoto Nyā, Koko Nishimura. Shadow Battalion." Itari summoned knights of black armor.  "What's going on?" "We ran into some trouble." A group of Black Rabbit members walked up to the group. "Yo' friend still talkin' big?" One of them asked. "You knocked him out, so, no." Finn opened his eyes and yelled, "I CAN TAKE YOU ALL ON!!" Kimoto looked worried, Koko giggled, Itari sighed and the Rabbits yelled and charged. Suddenly, a figure came out of the sky and covered the Rabbits with a giant cloak, making them vanish. "Woah..." the others thought. The figure turned around and revealed to be Rosalind's songwriter, Daichi Kobayashi. "Here." He handed them a flyer and jumped up onto a building. Gone. The group sat there for a second before Finn fell off the wall yelling in pain.  "OOOWWIEE!!" "Ah! I've got you!" Koko pulled a flower out of her bag and started healing Finn. "Rosalind's having a concert?" Kimoto asked inspecting the flyer, "Koko, come on, we can ask Rosalind about her mom." "You think they'll let us near her?" "No, I guess not..." "We'll come as well," Itari said motioning towards the fallen Finn. "Really? That'd be great!" The three of them set off towards the concert hall, Finn being carried by one of Itari's dark matter soldiers.

Back at the Hall,

"Daichi is passing out the fliers, Rosa, and we have six hours until your show so how's about you calm down a little?" Rosalind glared at Angus and said,
"I guess you're right. Don't want to end up being a bad leader like my mother." "Does this mean you're considering actually becoming the Mayor?" Angus happily asked to which Rosalind smirked a little and replied with, "Maybe." Just then the doors to the hall (that were just fixed) were blasted open and the mayor walked in looking as angry as Rosalind earlier. "Rosalind, what is this?" she held a crumpled flyer for her concert up. "A flyer to my concert tonight. Will you be attending?" The Mayor slapped her daughter's face, halting everyone that saw. "You never listen to me, Rosalind. You know what I could do with my powers...don't disobey me." Rosalind kept her head in the same position, welling up with anger she knew she couldn't release on her mother. "Mrs. Mayor! We think what Rosalind is trying to do could actually help the City!" Kimoto stated bravely being backed up by Koko, Itari, and Finn. "Excuse me? Who are you, children?" "Just big fans of the number one idol, Rosa!" Koko grinned, "Her magical performance is sure to get everyone's spirits up." "After all...at least she's trying to help the city." You couldn't see Itari's eyes but his tone of voice and hereditary of dark magic was enough to make the Mayor take a step back. Rosalind chuckled and looked over at her mother who rested her angered face and admitted defeat. "Fine, Rosalind. Have your fun. But if all goes to Hell...I warned you." And with that, she vanished.

"Are you alright, Rosa?" "I'm more than okay, Angus. Thank you all so much!" Rosalind used her magic to lift them all up and hug them. "OWW!!" Finn cried out not fully healed yet. Rosalind put them down, apologizing. "My mother's the most irritating person I know. If you hadn't pointed out her wrongdoings I would've exploded." "But, it is weird how she hasn't done anything as the Mayor..." Kimoto voiced her concerns as Koko healed Finn further. "Yeah..." Rosalind quickly noticed that the stage crew had stopped working, she waved her hands and purple streams filled the air and they were back at work. "What was that?" "Illusion magic," Itari suggested. "I thought you had Psionic magic!" "The Mayors of Lily City are required to learn Mysticism magic, the purest form of magic with 13 different skills." Rosalind made three clones that seemed to radiate bright light, "If the next Mayor can't learn all 13 abilities by the time the current one steps down they will be unable to be Mayor and a temporary replacement will step in." The clones dissolved into a golden glitter that swarmed Finn. "Ah!" "Illusionary Magic, Psionic Magic, Energy Matter Manipulation, and Animancy are some of them." "RROOOAAARRR!!!!" Finn jumped up screaming. "I'M ALL BETTER!!" Kimoto was surprised by how rapid and strong the healing was. "But, I don't really know about being Mayor...Anyways, do you four want to have front row seats as compensation for helping me?" "WE'D LOVE THAT!!!" Koko's eyes lit up. "Great. Preparations are complete!"

Lily City was about to become a lot safer.
