The fourth floor

Ken entered the fourth floor and saw the different colored coffins lined against the wall. "Coffins?" "Yes, mage." Mars appeared behind Ken who jumped away from him. "You! You must be Mars. The one who gave the orders for all of this." "Yes, I am the great Lord Mars. I bet you're wondering what's in these coffins?" Mars asked walking over to the red coffin. He chuckled before he said, "Take a peek." and opened the coffin revealing Kens' father, Sage Neil, strapped up with a purple liquid being injected into him. Ken stood, shocked. He was terrified and left immobilized thinking, "How could the strongest mages the city has to offer be captured without a sound?" "You're asking yourself how could the strongest mages in your city be captured. Aren't you?" Ken, shocked, looked up at him, "How did you-" "I am a Human Biologist. I study you humans and your extremely easy to track patterns. You mages can detect nearby magic and others that use magic correct? Well, sending soldiers that don't use magic would be perfect counters...would they not?" "Don't use magic? What are you all..." Mars shut the door to Neil's coffin.

"Something amazing."

"Now, I already know what you're going to do. Do you?" Ken was scared, through and through. But, when he thought about the chaos in Lily City, his family waiting for him, his friends fighting below him, the Sages out of commission, and his dead mother he became empowered. He knew his magic was dangerous but he didn't care. "If you guessed that I'd fight back with all my might, you'd be right." Flames engulfed Ken's arms as he stared at Mars down. "Heh, let's begin then."

The third floor

"Mira! What you're seeing isn't- AH!" Kusuri evaded Scorpios blades, he knew if it grazed him he was done for. "Kusuri! Move!" Mira sent a heranourme blast at him, knocking him off his balance, "NOW!" Scorpio dashes towards Kusuri and sliced him in the chest with his blades. "WAH-" Kusuri sat in astonishment and felt his chest that was ripped open. He started hyperventilating once he saw that his hand was covered in blood, "I was cut..." "We got him, Kusuri!" Mira exclaimed running over to Scorpio who readied his blades. Kusuri went wide-eyed and pulled the green ball off the zipper of his jacket, "I won't let you hurt my friend!" He yelled before crunching down on the sphere that released a liquid he drank.

Kusuris' body let off an incredibly bright light. "What's this?" Scorpio saw the Kusuris' wounds heal right before his eyes. "How did-" Kusuri slammed Scorpios' head into the wall and jumped back. "You can't take me down that easily!" He announced proudly. "Argh- you little-!" Before Scorpio could finish he heard someone call out to him. "Yes, my Lady!" And with that, he disappeared. "Kusuri?" Mira looked around confused. "I'm here, Mira." he walked over and poured a healing potion on her leg, restoring her leg and removing the poison. "Woah- where's?" "He's gone, it's okay I think." "You're glowing! You used that potion!" "Yeah! Woah, what's happening?" The entire tower shook ferociously. This was Ace and Spade's doing from the first floor, "Smog Drill!" Smoke drilled into the walls of the tower. "Straight bolt!" Lightning cut through the bricks of the tower. "What's going on it feels like their trying to destroy the tower! Is that even possible?" Kusuri questioned Mira who thought for a second then said, "Yes! It's impenetrable from the outside, not the inside! Destroying the tower could help other people fighting! And I have the perfect spell for this." "Well, here we go! HA!" Kusuri started punching the walls incredibly fast as Mira swiped through pages.

The second floor

Lark was at a standstill with Aries who had seemed to take no damage from their battles. "How are you doing it?" Lark asked glaring at his enemy. "Doing what? Are you scared of the unknown, mage?" "You've clashed with me earlier. Ken and I encased you in glass, how did you escape?" The two of them started slowly circling each other, "We Zodiac Warriors are supposed to obey our masters. If we are called, we come." "Hmm. Does that restore damage?" "You see, we Zodiac Warriors aren't just emissaries of the zodiacs. We are them!" The two of them clashed weapons as the tower shook around them, "And we all get certain quirks from our masters, heh." Lark understood what he was talking about and pushed Aries back, "Sonic Boom!" "ACK-!" Aries was blasted against the wall, continuously. "You got cocky and revealed your secret. To think it would actually work." Lark chuckled to himself. "You heal over time, but if I don't give you time to heal you'll fall before me." "AAARRRGGHHHHH!!!" Lark enjoyed seeing the arrogant fool be destroyed before him, but he knew he was running out of magic and assumed everyone else was. "It seems he wasn't the only one to get overconfident."
