I woke up to the sun beaming into my room. I could barely open my eyes. Pulling my phone out from under my pillow, I checked for any messages. Nothing. I guess he doesn't really need me. I got up and went to pick some clothes. Denim skinny jeans, green and blue checkered shirt and some black plimsolls. I brushed my hair back out of my face and brushed my teeth.Tiptoeing down the stairs, attempting to pass my over-protecting mother.
"Where were you last night?" She asked bluntly.
" In my room?" I replied.
"Oh yeah? So why didn't you come down for any dinner?"
"I wasn't hungry, plus I fell asleep," I said, walking out whilst grabbing a breakfast bar.
"Have a good day," She managed to fit in before I left. Her voice had a slight hint of pain but also worry. It wasn't easy since my dad left us. He told us he had to go away for a while, in the process he also told us he wouldn't be coming back. We have been managing quite well but mom has her days when she really gives up with everything. Amy definitely doesn't help.

When I arrived at school, I spotted Lacey and Aaron but no Harvey. We stood outside and hung around for a bit until the bell went. I walked in, following Lacey, she kept giving me weird looks. I don't know why but I ignored them. We walked into our tutor and took a seat in our usual spaces. After a few minutes she spun around in her chair and glared at me.
"Dylan. Whats wrong? Was it Harvey? What did he do?" She asked with a serious tone.
"Nothings wrong and no he did nothing. I'm just in that shitty mood today. Don't worry."
We all went to our first period; maths and got on with the lesson. 15 minutes into the lesson, Harvey walked in. He looked like he hadn't slept all night, he had huge bags under his eyes and he was dressed pretty scruffy. He didn't seem himself today. He took a seat in front of me, not even acknowledging my existence. I tapped his shoulder to ask him if he was okay. No answer. I did it several times until I gave up.
The day went on. No word from Harvey all day. Something was definitely wrong.
