"Get the hell off of me."

There's people looking, but I don't care. My hand press harder against his shoulder, my other wrapped over his neck.

"Say that again."

"What just happened to her?"

He smiles, like my sister's safety is nothing but a joke. Fury runs through me like fire when I cock the gun against his chest, looking into those glittering gray eyes.

"Shoot me, then."

"Bloodsucker." I hiss, my eyes widening in rage. "I never should've trusted you from the start. I should've known."

"I think you look your best when you're pissed off, Youra." He smirks, face completely at ease even though he must be running out of breath. "It's true what I said— Tae just sucked her dry."

"Her blood is completely gone."

I'm about to electrify his smile off his face when someone clicks his tongue behind me, releasing a deep sigh.

"I'm going to wash your mouth with soap, hyung." A young voice echoes, stiff and not amused. "That'll teach you to stop lying."

He's lying.

Relief pours through my body, and I don't even have the strength to murder storm-gray when his smile grows wider.

"Jungkook, you ruined it." He laughs, wincing as he massages the bruises on his neck. I can only be satisfied in that as the boy shoots him a look.

"I should've just left her to choke the life out of you. You went too far, hyung."

"Hey you." I say, pushing off of the ground. "She's okay, right? She's fine— that idiot was just messing around with me."

"Right?"

"Well, he's not exactly wrong— but she'll be fine, yeah." He stretches out a hand, looking uncertain when my brow furrows. "I can take you to her if you want?"
