Chapter 6: Guilty

JENNIE's POV

We are now here at the supermarket, wandering around looking for something I didn't really know what I was looking for.

"Aren't you done?" Lisa asked while pushing the cart next to me. Yes, she's with me because I blackmailed her that I'll tell my brother she let me go alone if she won't accompany me. She's wearing a cap and the sunglasses to hide her identity. We really hope no one will notice her. But I guess they didn't, everyone was busy with their groceries.

"Just a few things and I'm done." I said, while putting random stuffs in the cart. I just want to make sure she's not going to that Chae baby of hers. I have to make sure today that she won't flirt with other girls, only to Irene. She should thank me for this.

Is it really for Irene? You liar!

Stop it! You crazy mind of mine!

"Please, make it fast. I really need to go." She said, worries plastered on her face while typing again on her phone. I rolled my eyes. Is she that important to you?!

"Okay, okay! I'm done." I said and walked towards the cashier. There's four more to go before my groceries. So I checked on Lisa. She's being impatient, tapping her right shoe on the floor continuously and her eyes was fixed on her phone screen.

Why is that Chae baby is so important to her? Is that really a good chic or what? She really wants to see her. I feel mad and curious at all. Is she that beautiful? To make this woman eager to see her.

"Jen?" I looked at my side to know who's calling me and to my surprise...

"Joo hyuk oppa! You're here." I said with a wide smile. I glanced at Lisa, she's still busy with her phone. I mentally rolled my eyes. I'm irritated to this woman beside me.

"I ran out of stocks, that's why." He explained. He's in line with the cashier next to my line, with a basket in his right hand full of instant goods. I furrowed my brows.

"I told you to refrain from eating too much instant foods." I scolded him. He chuckled.

"I know, and I won't forget that. I only eat twice or trice a week. I just need to buy more to stock for a whole month because I'm really busy doing part time jobs." He explained and I nodded.

"So, are you free today? For the second time I'll ask you, because the last time you rejected me." He said and we laughed.

I simply glanced at Lisa, she's now looking at Joo Hyuk oppa with furrowed brows. Why is that?

But I guess, I should let her meet that Chae baby of hers. I have Joo Hyuk oppa to accompany me, and we need to catch up with each other's lives.

"Of cour--" I was cut off by this woman beside me.

"No. She's going with me. So for the second time, she'll reject you again." She said with a serious tone. What's wrong with her?! I thought she's going to her Chae baby and now she wants me to go with her?

"Oh? Who is she?" Joo Hyuk asked me pointing his forefinger to Lisa.

"Uhm? She's a friend of my brother." I told him. I don't know if I should introduce her as the actress Lisa, maybe she doesn't wanted to expose herself in this kind of state.
