Lenny appeared on my doorstep some time afterward. He raised an eyebrow at my t-shirt, but didn't say anything. Bored and tired from God-knows-what, we just decided to to a "Paulie" and watch a kids' movie. Tinkerbell 1, 2 & 3, to be exact.
We sat side-by-side silently, the Kit Kat going uneaten between us. I wasn't grumpy or angry, just couldn't be bothered. To be honest, I was quite relieved that Len felt the same way (about the boredom, not the Tinkerbell choice).
Towards the end of the third movie, we had started falling asleep, despite me sleeping for quite some time in the last twenty-four hours.
My head casually fell on Len's shoulder, who cocked his own to rest on my fallen head. We fell asleep like that. My head on his shoulder, his head on my head, sitting on the couch, Tinkerbell credits rolling.
