Tina's POV:

What happened? I opened my eyes to see a blur hovering above me. My body feels weak like when I got up after the accident. My eyes begin to focus and I see that its man that's observing me. I turn to my right to see a tray of surgical instruments coated in blood. Thats when sat up and began to panic. I looked at the man and kicked away with my foot, and then cried as a shot of pain went up my leg.

"Good." the man said, "That means that it's working." "What?!" I shout as I look at my leg. It's incredibly bruised at the shin. "Don't worry. It goes away in about 1 to 2 days." he smiled, "I think I did pretty good. If anyone tried to fix a leg as bad as yours was, you wouldn't be able to walk on it for the rest of your life. Nothing else." Memories swarm back into my head like bees to a bear when it breaks into its nest. I rolled off the table I was laying on and tried to escape for the door, but the moment I put pressure on my bruised leg, I immediately collapsed. "No no no! You need a few more hours!" He shouted with concern.

"AhhhHHHH!" I cried in agony as he ran over to pick me up. That made me scream even more. Last time I let a strange man help me, my friends and I were taken to this horrible place. "Girl! Please be quiet and let me explain!" He shouted as he put me back on the table, "Your leg is not in a good condition to walk on yet. But when the WBC3x does its job, you'll be able to walk again." "Who are you? Where am I?!" I shouted as the man walked to pick up a bloody scalpel and put it under running sink water.

"You are in my lab. My name is Igor Riggs and I'm here to help you." he said calmly.

His eyes looked more sincere than sinister which was quite odd, considering how everyone else acted. "How did I get here?" I asked. "My brother hovered you over here. Wouldn't be surprising if he was the one that did this. I'd recognize this work anywhere. Same case with the dark angel. He broke his arms again."
"Dark angel?" I questioned, but then I remembered, "Where's Leo?!"

"Not in the best shape." Igor said, turning around to reveal what was behind the curtain seperating me from something. I nearly threw up at the sight. Leo's wrist bones were sticking out of his skin. Blood coated his sides and hands.

"Leo..." I whimpered, "Oh my god..." "Relax Tina. He's not dead. Just unconscious probably from the pain and blood loss. It's another basic procedure. It happens all the time." "Wha..?!" I stammered. I'm without words at this point. "You need to calm down. I can fix it easily, but I need my assistant. And since he's teaching the twins a thing or two at practice, looks like you're the next best thing."

"What do you mean by that?" I do not like where this is going. "You don't want angel boy to die right? Then be my assistant for an hour. Got it?" he said in a deadpan voice. He pulled up a rolling chair and motioned for me to get in. "My leg's still healing you said." "And the other one isn't. Push yourself around on that songbird. I can't see why this kid saved your life." Igor groaned.

"He saved my life?" I asked. "You really aren't that bright, are you?" "Well my friends and I have been taken against our will, been turned into freaks, and have been branded with iron. When we get out of here-" "You can't get out of here." he began to laugh, "You-you think it's gonna be easy? Just like that? I knew the last few performers that tried. They were great acts. But now they're 6 feet under us. Down in the basement. I did my best to help them, but my brother found them before they could get to the last step of the plan."

"You helped them?" "I had to. They were miserable here. Just like you and your friends. You don't think I see that? You don't think I know that I could be out there, sharing my mind to the world? I could've changed it. I bet you anything I could've changed it. But that's not an option for me anymore. You don't think I see what my brother does to you? It's barbaric. The only reason I did any of this was for one person. And she might die if I don't go forward with this. After I fix her, I'm done. I'm done with this place. I'm done with making freaks. I'm gonna take her, my normal assistant, and leave this nightmare." He turned to Leo with new latex gloves on and began to move his bones back in place. The sound that came from it was blood chilling.

"But none of that can happen if you won't be my assistant and help me fix him. He's the main attraction. Put on some gloves. There are some in the box on that desk." he jerked his head to the corner of the room that had what was needed, "When everything is over and fixed, we can get plan an escape route." "Wait, we?" My ears perked up. "Yes. We. Not as in my assistant, and said girl. But all of us. Snake boy, Moody Moody, you and your friends, everyone." He said, getting a syringe full of a weird green liquid, labled WBC3x.

"Why are you gonna help us? And why should we trust you?" I questioned him. "Because I need to make up for what I've turned you all into. Another reason I'm here is because I need to make sure that you all don't die because of my brother. The way he just breaks you guy's arms and legs has someone on my table twice a week. Normally it's your roommate." "Moody?" "Yes. But I seriously doubt I'll be seeing her much on the table anymore because the madness kicked in." "The madness?" "You noticed how she was when you first came in her room. Compare it to how she was during initiation." he said while injecting the needle into Leo's veins.

"I guess she was different." I realized. "That's what the madness does. It erases your memories and makes you a whole different person. That's not the case for a certain snake boy. I have no idea how he's able to remember and still have the madness. But I haven't bothered to bring it up." he moved to Leo's other arm and snapped the biggest parts of the bone in place. Leo woke up and started screaming in pain.

"Don't you have an anesthesia?!" I shouted at Igor. He turned to his desk and pulled something out of one of the drawers. "Have him bite on this" he handed the object to me. "A belt?!" I yelled at him, "You have a cure for all injuries, but the best thing you have for anesthesia is this?!" "Fold it and put it in his mouth before we need to use the WBC3x on his mouth!"

"TINA, WHAT- WHAT'S HE DOING?!" he shrieked. I quickly shoved the belt in his mouth so he would listen. "Leo, this man can help us. He'll fix your arms and then help all of us escape." I tried my best to soothe him. He started yelling at me through the leather. He was probably trying to say, "Who the hell is this guy?" and other things of the sort. "Leo, as hard as it may seem right now, I need you to focus on something else. Anything other than what Igor is doing. Please try. Then we'll get out of here. Just please, please do this!" It's only now tears started to roll down my cheeks and I remember that this is the second time he's going through this.

"What did he do?" I turned to Igor, "You said he saved my life. When did he do that?" "When you were hacking on your vocal cords, I had to barge in save you before you started choking. Angel boy didn't know I was trying to help, so he attacked me. No hard feelings. But then, one of the henchmen started pulling you away. Which wasn't right because even though he was needed to move you, he was also killing you with the towel he put over your mouth. He didn't know, but a mix of what you were coughing up with what was with that towel might've been toxic. Angel boy got off of me and attacked him. Because of that, the towel didn't kill you."

"And then he broke his arms." I looked down at Leo as he was still wrything, "Leo, why would you risk that?" My tears falling on his forehead. He looked up at me with his blue eyes, but before he even tried saying anything, he started screaming again. I looked at Igor who was moving more bones into place. "There are more pieces on this side than the other!" he shouted over Leo, "It's gonna be a long night for him."
