You let out a sigh as you glanced at the work schedule. It told who was on which shift for the days. You saw your own name but didn't see Yuto's name anywhere. Where had he gone? You frowned but still took the tray you prepared in the back and went towards the front of the store again.

You placed the plate of pastries to one customer and a drink to another. Hoseok was on the side of the store, watching your moments. He was sipping on his coffee he had ordered. Every once in a while, he would send you a smile. Once you went into the back to go put more little cakes in the display case, you noticed the trash can was full. You let out a small sigh as your other co worker was in front taking care of a rude customer. You carefully slipped the bag out of the can and tied it tightly.

Then, you headed outside in the back to the dumpster. Lifting up the lid, you scrunch up your nose from the awful smell and quickly tossed the bag in there. You dropped the lid and tried to not inhale the scent of the garbage. "Ew, that smells nasty." You commented and was about to turn around to go inside when a voice stopped you.

"But you smell better."

Oh shit. You could only think as you spun around to be met with the elegant creature. His brown eyes locked onto yours and he sent you a chilling smile. What the fuck do you do? You were back here with a dumpster behind you and the man standing in the entrance of the back door. The sides were open and so maybe if you ran fast enough? Well, you recalled the other moments you ran from those strangers.

"Don't think about running sweetheart." He chuckled at the idea. "You know what I am, don't you?" He took a step forward that made you take a step back. "I know that you know what I am. A vampire." An annoying smile came onto his face.

Hopefully Hoseok would burst out through the door at any second. Or from the roof. Or from the sky. Either one, you could care less at this point if it didn't mean that you would have your blood sucked out of you.

"I just have to ask you a couple of things." He started. "Are you part of the Werewolf King lineage? You better answer honestly or I'll break your arm."

"I-" You started stuttering as you saw the canines flash in his mouth. It just reminded you of that one night. The night before you found about werewolves.

In a flash, he was a blur and then he was near you and held your left arm in his grip. "I said answer me honestly. I have no time for this." He growled out before squeezing your arm. "Are you part of the lineage of the Werewolf King?"

"Y-Yes." You managed to get it out as he seemed really close to breaking your arm. Or the way his canines dangerously peeked from his lips.

"I knew it." The creature laughed in amusement. "Now, all your little mutts..." He leaned in closer and now you could see contacts in his eyes. There was a faint ring where you could clearly see it now. "They're really protective over you, aren't they?"

You could blink at him and answer with a yes.

He let out another laugh, seeming amused by the idea. "I wonder what lengths they'll go to if they find out I just take you back to my Clan. Do you think they'll be happy? Seeing you almost hanging onto life? I wonder if they'll easily forget about you. Want to find out?"

At that moment, you tried pulling your arm back. You knew it was useless but it was a natural reflex. "Just let go of me."

"I'll take that as a no." His grip on you tightened. "Do you want to know the reason why I want those mutts to suffer?"

You stopped for a moment. Was there a gruesome reason as to why vampires want you dead? Besides your blood of course. Before you could answer, his expression changed as he let out a low hiss and smirked. "Tell your little puppy that I will come after you." Just like that, he disappeared and he left you alone.

You rubbed at your arm, seeing the red marks he left behind. There were footsteps rapidly coming around the corner and Hoseok appeared, looking around. Once he spotted you, he ran over to you. "Y/N? Are you ok? I picked up on another scent and I-" He stopped once he saw the red prints on your arm.

Gently as he could, Hoseok took your arm. "A vampire was here, wasn't it?" He mumbled, his eyes were starting to turn dark.

"Yes..." You mumbled and still felt where his hand had gripped onto yours.

He let out a growl before slowly calming down. "Ok, can you get off work early? I don't trust them around here."

"I think so." You replied, knowing that at this time the cafe was slowly dwindling in customers. Plus your shift would be over in another forty minutes. It shouldn't be a problem.

Hobi nodded and brushed his fingertips over the marks. "Alright, I'll wait right here." He finally let you go as you rushed back in to let your co worker know that you weren't feeling well.

You met with your co worker and once you explained the situation, they nodded in sympathy. "Ok, that's no problem all. Someone else should be coming in anyways. I hope you're feeling better."

"Thanks." You sent them a quick smile before going to your locker and grabbing your things. Swiftly, you signed out and went back to where you left Hoseok. He stood there and once you came out, he was by your side in an instant. He rushed you to the car where he started it up. Pulling out of the parking space, he sped on home.

Throughout the drive, you could see his jaw clenched and his dark eyes focused on the road. It was not a good time to ask him what the guys did to make that vampire so angry. So, instead you decided to wait when he got to the house to ask Namjoon. At least, he would probably keep a calm head on his shoulders. Hopefully.
