Two days later, Ainar needed to be taken for a vaccination in the morning hours. I dressed up both the kids, then fed Ainar and put her to sleep while waiting for Ahsan to get ready.
At the hospital reception, as Ahsan went on with the vaccination formalities, we were approached by a nurse who acknowledged our presence and tried playing with our sleeping princess. I told the nurse she is sleeping, thats why.
The nurse then decided to make Ainar comfortable at the nursery and check her oxygen levels.I never thought it would do anything wrong so i let her take Ainar.Suddenly, she came and looked at me with fear in her eyes and told me that your baby is unresponsive. Her oxygen levels are down and we are trying our best. I was blank, my tears were pouring non stop,
"Ahsan, i.. i.. i need to find him, my husband.. hurry someone," i shouted my head off.
As though Ahsan heard me he came straight where i was and talked to the nurse and we were rushed to the nursery and they announced emergency calling a code and for the doctors to respond and report to the nursery. Our tears poured non stop when we saw the nurses and doctors gathered around our little Ainar, beating her chest and pumping her.. i cried my eyes out.
"Ya Allah, help my child please. Please save her. Please Ease her pain."
Ahsan held onto me because i was loosing it and was about to fall down. We couldnt watch. The nurse tried to push us out but we were stuck there. We couldnt move even if our life depended on it.
