The next morning, a little later though, Ahsan came to visit. I told him what the pedeatrician said and how the discharge will take place.
"I shall in shaa Allah call him. For now, you please dont stress as this will affect you and our princess and we defintely dont want that. "
I agreed as i knew he was right. The nurse brought Ainar and let us play with her for a while. Aryan held onto her finger and played so well with her. After a few minutes, the doctor came and told us that he will discharge Ainar and i but some conditions must be met. Ahsan and i exchanged a look and looked back at the doctor to continue.
"You will need to keep her in a warm cosy area, buy a heater, make sure nobody touches her and only during feeding time ypu should carry her and minimal visitors. You will have to be very careful as she is very delicate as she is tiny. Also make sure you take her for the vaccines after a month as we are not giving her any because of her being underweight. Summing it up Mr. Ahsan, i am discharging Ainar on your pedeatricians say, so please also keep me updated on Ainars health and upkeep."
"We definitely in shaa Allah will do that. Thank you so much doc for everything." After which both men shook hands and the doctor left.
"Al hamdulilah" Ahsan and i said together and then i explained to Aryan that we were going home. He was super excited and said he couldnt wait for his princess to come home. Nor could i wait for the next day to go back home and be with both my kids. The day flew and soon the discharge day was here. Ahsan came early morning to complete the formalities while i started packing everything. We were all set to go home when Ahsans phone rang, it was none other than our own pedeatrician who wanted to know the progress and told us he would like to see Ainar in his clinic after 3 weeks in shaa Allah, to which Ahsan agreed immediately and we drove off home with our little pink bundle of joy in our hands.
