After Ahsan returned from his small walk with Aryan, he asked me if i had thought of a name for our princess.
"I have thought Ahsan, but am sure Aryan will also have as he has been singing of lots of names. Why dont we ask him and then decide?"
"Whatever my queen says" came Ahsans reply which made me blush.
"Aryan," Ahsan called him.
"Jee pappa," came a little voice
"Habib, have you thought of a name for your little sister?"
"Umm, pappa i i ...," and he shyed off
"Tell us honey, what name do you like?" I encouraged him.
"Mummy, i like a name. Can we call her Ainar?"
"Hmm, masha Allah thats a beautiful name Aryan, lets check what it means. " Ahsan told him.
We waited for Ahsan to check his uncle google and tell us the meaning.
"It means 'A Gift of God' subhana Allah its a beautiful name and meaning, she truly is a gift from Allah Al hamdulilah."
I agreed and recalled the time when we were looking for boys names and had selected Aryan as it meant 'Of utmost Strength.'
And so Ahsan went to the nursery, took our little princess in his hands and named her Ainar.
After a few more minutes, Ahsan headed home with Aryan as he was tired and needed to sleep. I was left alone in the big room which i dispised because hospitals were one place nobody would want to be in and unlike Aryans time, where i only stayed a few hours, this was different because little Ainar needed the nurses care.
At night though, i was paid a visit by our pedeatrician. He told me Ahsan had called him and had asked him to see our princess.
We went to the nursery and he carried her in his hands and prayed on her and then did a thorough check up.
"Theres nothing to worry as for now, all we need to do is keep her warm and make sure that she feeds well as her birth weight of 1.7kgs is very very little. I will talk to the local doctor here and ask for a discharge in three days until then you will have to keep Ainar here and you should also stay back. In shaa Allah, all shall fall into place."
With Ameen on our lips, we exited the nursery. I was hopeful since he said she is ok Al hamdulilah and that she can be discharged soon.Little did i know that he is keeping a secret from me as he doesnt want me to worry.
