There she stands again. Again she is annoyed of herself, because she can't find her key again. But finally after very long minutes, she fishes it out of her bag and unlock the apartment. When she walks in, everything is silent, so she thinks that Draco is still in the bathroom and taking a bath.

But the Granger is wrong as she notices as the young woman enters her living room, the Slytherin sits on her couch - only with a towel around his waist - and on his lap lays her cat Crookshans and seems to be more than relaxed.

While the blonde is fondling the red hair cat and both seem to enjoy this, because the Malfoy smiles slightly and Crookshanks meows, the brunette can only stands there and looks at this surprising pair irritated. Since when does her cat trust someone so fastly?

He doesn't even trust Harry, Ron and Ginny really much, so it's actually fucking startling that he trusts Draco that fast. Hermione blinks to see whether this situation is real or whether she is just dreaming. Her cat stretches out his feet and purrs while Draco is still caressing his fur. But she is not dreaming.

»As I see you finished your bath...« she suddenly says and gets the attention of both. Right away Draco looks up and his eyes widen slightly when he recognizes her appeariance and he takes Crookshanks to put him next to him on the sofa. Because of this she raises an eyebrow. Draco looks a bit nervously at her while Crookshanks is trying to get on his lap again.

His gaze wanders to the animal and his hand grabs him but as softly as possible and puts him again next to him before he looks back to Hermione and he swallows. »I...eh...yes. When I was ready, I called you, but you weren't here. I mean of course you don't have to tell me when you leave...I mean...eh...I sat down here and then your cat came. I swear I didn't do anything to Crookshanks! I just strokes him trough his fur...I swear...eh...«

Hermione just shakes her head and smiles. Whatever he is thinking yet, it's quite funny to her. But she doesn't want to make him even more embarrasing, so she just smiles a bit. »It's okay. Really. I saw you didn't do anything to my pet. I was at the burrow of the Weasley's to get you some clothes. I noticed you don't have any anymore and I thought you wouldn't want to wear the same as you did in azkaban...I know I should had talk to you because of this, but I hope it is okay that Harry gave me some clothes...«

Draco is surprised. »You...brought some clothes for me?« The Granger nods. »I did. I hope you don't hate me for the fact that these clothes are from Harry. But Ron wouldn't had give me some clothes...Should I give them to you nevertheless?« He only blinks in the first moments. »Y-yeah...That was really nice from him...and also from you of course...«

The Gryffindor smiles and gives him the clothes. He still looks surprised. »I...eh...wow. T-thank you, Granger...« She just shrugs. »I am actually not the person you should say these words to.« In the first moments he doesn't get what she means, but then he realizes. »Oh, sure.« is the only thing he can say. Again there is a weird silence between them and both are embarred again.

The Malfoy clears his throat. »Uhm...well...I guess I will put some clothes on then.« She nods and wants to go to her room, but when he stands up her gaze wanders to his chest. What should she does? He only sat there with a towel, so...But when she looks at his chest, she inhale she sharply.

There are scars all over his upper body, some larger and some smaller. Some have already faded, while others are still very clear. Hermione swallows as she sees this and she tries to look away, but all of a sudden the Granger is back in 6th year when Harry told Ginny, Ron and her what he did in the bathroom. She sees how her black hair best friend sat in front of her when he explained the situation and what he did.

Hermione felt very guilty and she still does. And that's exactly the reason why she swallows hardly. Draco, who was actually a bit embarred again because of the situation a few moments ago, watched her - he has absolutely no clue why, he just did - and has caught her in the act as she stares incessantly on his upper body.

The Slytherin doesn't only need one second to get why she is staring so much at his chest. He knows it better than anyone else, so he only sighs quietly. Actually he doesn't want to do it, but he looks down and then up again right in her eyes and sees...a feeling of guilt?

Draco sees her swallowing hardly and it seems like she would try to see away. »Are these...all the...scars Harry did to you in...6th year?« the brunette asks and her voice is not strong as she probably wants it to be which means that she thinks it is maybe risky to all.

And damn. There he was. The blow that once again brings him back to the past. But before special memories can flash in front of his gleeful eye, he quickly shakes his head. The Malfoy isn't sure what he should say now. He doesn't want to open up, but he can't say nothing. Granger helps him and should appreciate it with being honest...
