Taeyong's pov

"It's no problem, Taeyong. And until he stops being a major creep, I'll continue being your fake boyfriend." Sicheng exclaims, an unrecognizable emotion, hurt? flashed over Sicheng's chocolate colored orbs before being covered up.

"Still, thank you. I love you guys so much." My eyes teared up a bit before the three of them surrounded me with a group hug.

"We love you, too, Taeyong. We're best friends; we can get through your creepy guy together." Mark exclaims and squeezes me.

Taeyong, why must you lie to Jaehyun? He just wants to love you— he does love you. Just let him, you won't regret it.

"Guys I hate to add more to this, but I keep hearing a strange voice in my head. It- it sounds like Jaehyun did when I met him in the forest." I trembled slightly in my seat.

"Taeyong, Jaehyun can't be in your head." Yuta began, "You know what? You've been right about everything else; what's the voice telling you?"

"It just now told me to stop lying to him and give him a chance to love me— that he's loved me for a long time." I sulked and leaned closer to Sicheng, who tensed up slightly.

"Well Taeyong, that's up to you to decide. If you will give Jaehyun a chance, I won't selfishly hold you back. Go for it, Yongie." Sicheng wore a bittersweet smile and rubbed my arm.

"I know you better than I know myself, Taeyong. I know when you like someone, so don't let him go, okay?" Sicheng continued.

"I guess I'll storm out of here fake crying as though you broke up with me." I muttered then gently shoved Sicheng off of me. "Three... two... one."

"I can't believe you Sicheng! I've let so much slide these past few months but I can't take it anymore! We're through!" I shouted and ran out of the cafeteria.

Thank god I took theater class!

I slumped down onto the dirty bathroom floor and let all of my pent up tears, both real and fake, roll down my cheeks. The hot tears leaving a scalding pain in their wake.

As I sat curled up in a ball, I felt someone sit beside me. They placed an ice cold hand on the back of my head and soothed my hair.

"It'll all be okay, Taeyong. Please stop crying; it pains me to see you like this." I heard Jaehyun speak as he continued to run his fingers through my dyed red hair.

"Why do you care so much, Jaehyun? Why do you love me? We just met this morning!" I scream and jerked away from his touch. Jaehyun seemed hurt by my reaction.

"Taeyong..." Jaehyun began before I cut him off.

"The truth, please. Don't start out with lies right away, Jaehyun."

"Will you be able to handle the truth, Taeyong? It seemed pretty outlandish to the past males."

"I met you in a private area of my forest, I'm hearing a strange voice in my head, and I'm constantly feeling a strange pain in my hands and down my back. How much more weird can it get?"

"Don't interrupt me, okay? Taeyong, this isn't the first time we've met. This is the first time I've met this reincarnation of you; you're the fifth reincarnation of my old lover. You're completely identical to him, and I'm the one who caused this mess.

"I'm the one who ran to a witch and demanded she save my Taeyong. Instead of just saving his life, she cursed us. I have to watch as each reincarnation of my lover dies, and there's nothing I can do to stop it. She cursed your previous incarnation with a death by age twenty; she cursed me with immortality. I'm a vampire, Taeyong." Jaehyun finished.

I sat in thought for a few moments. My tears stopped shedding. I furrowed my brows before laughing.

"Jaehyun, that's impossible! Vampires and witches? Please be serious, Jaehyun."

"Taeyong, why don't you believe me?"

"Because you have no proof of being a vampire— of me being a "reincarnation" of your past lover." I stood up from the floor and stepped towards the door.

Before I could even touch the door, Jaehyun was stood before it; his eyes red and angry.

"Don't leave me, Taeyong." He snarled, showcasing his long, sharp fangs. I quickly jumped back, fear evident in each move and twitch I made. My eyes widened and I stepped back until my back was against a wall.

I raised my arms to protect my face from him. "Please don't hurt me." My eyes watered once again. "Please." I begged. I heard Jaehyun take slow step after slow step in my direction. He raised one hand and placed it on the wall beside my head.

"Hurt you? Why would I hurt you? I've been looking for you for ages, Taeyong. I don't plan on losing you so soon. Your well-being is my number one priority."

Jaehyun pulled my hands down and held them within his own. His hands were a little bit larger than my own; our hands fit like puzzle pieces. I kept my eyes tightly shut and tried to ignore the sharp pains in my hands and back. I grimaced as I waited for the pain to subside.

Jaehyun rested his head in the crook of my neck, making me slightly uncomfortable although it felt natural. Jaehyun left a kiss on my left cheek before noticing my immense pain.

"Taeyong, are you okay? You don't look so good." He worriedly asked as he stepped back a little.

"Yeah, don't worry. This isn't the first time this pain has came around." I breathlessly replied before my limbs began weak and heavy like lead. I dropped down to my hands and knees as the pain quickly increased.

The skin on my back felt like it was ripping apart. I screamed as I felt an incredibly worse pain until it suddenly subdued by itself.

"Taeyong... what are you?" Jaehyun asked as he dropped to the floor beside me. I felt the world fade into darkness before I could even hope to reply.
