Taeyong's pov"Taeyongie, let's go on a date today." Jaehyun sweetly asked once we were alone again. He gazed at me with huge brown eyes filled with compassion.
"I just finished crying, and you still want to go on a date with me? Where?" I asked incredulously. I wiped the dry tears from my cheeks.
"Anywhere you want to go, Tae. I'm okay with what'll make you happiest." Jaehyun promised and held my hands. He smiled and gently pulled me to stand beside him.
"Get dressed, baby. I'll be in the living room." Jaehyun kissed my lips softly then walked out of the room. I happily sighed and touched my lips with my fingertips.
I stepped into my closet and gazed at the clothes blankly for a moment. After a few minutes of terrible outfit choices, I groaned.
Jaehyun, I can't find anything to wear. I pouted through our mind link. I heard him chuckle softly behind me a second later.
"You'll look great in anything, Tae. Don't worry so much about what clothes you wear." Jaehyun softly spoke as he back hugged me. He kissed my cheek and turned towards the pile of clothes I made.
"First of all, where are you wanting to go? You've got a tuxedo beside a mess of daily clothes." He laughed.
"I don't really know, honestly. I just thought we could go wherever our feet took us." I shyly explained. I sat down beside the mess of clothes I carelessly dropped.
"Do you still like books and coffee?" Jaehyun smiled as he handed me a pair of black ripped jeans and a blue button down. I took them with a smile.
"Absolutely! Let's go!" I quickly walked towards the door.
"Taeyong."
"Yeah Jae?""You still don't have a shirt on." Jaehyun muffled his laughter. My cheeks flushed a dark red as I buttoned on the shirt. I was about to pull off my shorts until Jaehyun coughed. He covered his eyes.
"Although we're engaged, give me a warning before you start stripping next time." Jaehyun grinned. He still kept his hands over his eyes.
"I don't know, should I?" I teased and zipped up the black jeans. I smirked as I walked towards my vanity and sat on its stool.
"That's up to you." He muttered and squats beside me on my stool. He looks at me with a soft smile.
"Can I do your makeup?" He asked me. I nodded and he gazed at the expanse of makeup excitedly. He picked up a flat brush and a darkly colored eyeshadow pallet.
"Close your eyes, please." He gently swiped a navy blue shadow on my upper lash lines. He smoothed a black shadow into the blue to darken it up more. He put the same navy shade on my bottom lash line.
He coated my eyebrows with a dark brown brow mascara then kissed my forehead.
"All done!" He cutely exclaimed. He turned me to face the mirror proud of his work. He softly pinched my cheeks.
"What about my base makeup?" I asked, not quite liking how my bare face looked to me. He smiled at me through the mirror.
"You don't need it. I can see how you pick apart your reflection, babe. You don't need to coat your face in products to be enough." He promised. He gently cupped my cheeks and caressed my face with his thumbs. He looked at me with a sincerity that warmed my heart.
"Are you sure? Look how dark my under eye bags are." I sighed and gently poked them. He pulled my hands into his larger hands and laced our fingers together
"I promise. Come on, let's go get some coffee. Then later we can go to a bookstore, and I'll watch you browse books as long as you want." He pulled us to stand upright. Our hands stayed locked together as we descend the staircase. We lace up our shoes quickly then reconnect our grasp on each other
Jaehyun and I set out on our way to the nearest Starbucks. He lead us to the register and turned to face me.
"What do you want to drink?" He asked as he gently squeezed my hand to gain my attention.
"Iced americano!" I childishly exclaimed. He giggled and nodded his head in response and pecked my cheek.
Behind us, we heard someone scoff. I turned around slightly confused.
"Is something wrong, Miss?" I asked the older woman. She seemed to be in her late forties. She glared at us disgusted.
"Of course there's something wrong! There are children around, and you two are being absolutely revolting! You're a pair of faggots kissing all up on each other in public!" She loudly complained, gaining the attention of others in the café.
"I'm sorry if you don't like us, miss, but please don't be so loud. Think of the children's poor little ears. Think of what their parents will think when they're asked what a 'faggot' is." I smiled at her kindly. Her face contorted with anger.
"I'll be as loud as I please! You two shouldn't be together, it's against God's will for humans!" She yelled louder.
"I think we're both a little to damned for God to care." Jaehyun snickered behind me. Her mouth dropped as she heard Jaehyun's input.
"Ma'am, for the peace of the public, I'm going to have to ask you to remove yourself from the premises. Please leave silently or I will contact the police." The cashier spoke before she could reply. She made a hum of disapproval and left with a confused child.
"I'm sorry about that, you guys. Your drinks are on the house today." The cashier continued. He smiled at us and hovered his fingers over the screen.
"Thank you... Xiaojun, for helping us. Two iced americanos, please." Jaehyun kindly spoke. He squeezed my hand gently three times- a silent I love you. I squeezed back twice.
