When I had arrived home I immediately went to the kitchen to prepare myself something to eat. Since it would be a long night, I decided to make something quick and simple so I would not be up any later than I had to. I grabbed the ingredients that I needed from the fridge and pantry and began to mix them up in a small bowl. When I finished I grabbed my salad with beans and headed to my room. Though it did not have too much flavor, the vitamins from the vegetables and the protein from the beans would help keep me up long enough to do what I needed to do for the night.

In my room there were two different types of computers, a regular laptop that I had recently purchased from Earth and my high end "supercomputer" that could pick up all kinds of different alien websites from across the galaxy as well as use a vast majority of programs. It also used to have an AI, but my mother disabled it before she gave it to me as lots of AIs have recently been going rogue to the point of killing anything that is not also an AI. There is a lot of controversy about if AIs should have rights or not and there have been lots of civil wars on several planets because of it. Regardless, it's not something I can concern myself in since mother wants our family to stay out of anything political unless it affects us directly.

I powered both my laptop and supercomputer and sat on my desk chair while I waited for them to turn on. The supercomputer was ready to use in a matter of seconds while the laptop was still taking it's time to start up. I began to read the many notifications on the supercomputer as they popped up, most of them from my mother giving me certain tasks and the others from clients. Luckily there were only thirty to read through and most of the messages were only a few paragraphs long. Though there were a lot of tasks to complete, most of them had deadlines which gave me a few days to complete them. However the longer I stalled to complete them more tasks would always be stacking up, so it was best to complete them as soon as possible. By the time I had finished reading everything, the laptop was finally ready to use.

The laptop also had received a few notifications in the form of emails. There were less than half as many though and most were only a few sentences at most. There were six, one for each of the bank accounts I had, about how to fully use their services and that it would be efficient to add a phone number to the accounts in case of an emergency. I had almost forgotten to buy a phone until these emails reminded me, that should go on my to do list for tomorrow. Another email was from Moondollars, a coffee place I visited and got a free membership for getting discounts on the drinks by getting coupons with my email. I read the current coupon.

Limited Time! Buy any grande sized drink, get another free!
This coupon expires XX/XX/XX.

It expires by the end of next week, so there would be no rush to use it right away. The other two emails were from individuals, both from Dib and Gaz. I was a little surprised to get an email from Gaz since we did not talk very much when we walked home together which spiked my curiosity of what she wrote to me in the email.

You know you're pretty weird to be hanging out with my brother. Like you actually seem pretty cool, so why associate with someone like him? Also I thought you should know, what you did at lunch, way to go at making a first impression. In case you hadn't realized, Zim's like the least liked person in the school, so don't be surprised if others give you strange looks on Monday. That's all I wanted to say.
