Sunday went by pretty slowly, as I was locked in my room for the entire day. Though I did manage to get lots of work done, the more I did then the less I would have to do throughout the week. Once it was about nine at night, I decided to finally stop working to the day and make something to eat. After breifly admiring all the finished tasks I had completed, I got up from my comfy desk chair and went to unlock the door. It was a wonder how I managed to get work done when I had not eaten anything for an entire day, things like that made it hard for me to believe that my brother and I were related, then again his tasks were more physically demanding than mine. I unlocked the door and sprinted down the hallway until I had reached the kitchen.
Since I had not eaten anything since the other day, I decided to make a larger meal to fill myself up. I grabbed the same recipe book that I had used from the other day and flipped to the breakfast section, ignoring the fact it was way past the time breakfast is normally eaten. Muffins seemed like a good idea, I could make blueberry, raspberry, plain or cheese ones. Or I could make the special eggs-traordinary breakfast muffins which had avacados, tomatoes, spinach and of course eggs. I start to prepare it before I wonder if Abis was coming back, he definitely was not here because if he was he would probably be lounging on the couch if he was. Still, I prepared enough for both of us in case he came back later after finishing his many Sunday objectives.
I had just put the muffins into the oven to bake for twenty minutes before I heard a door open and slam shut. Turning to the door, I saw my brother standing there covered in dirt. He started walking towards the couch, in which I responded by darting in front of him to block his path. "Oh no you don't, I don't want you anywhere near my new clean furniture while you're like that. You can lounge there all you want, but I will not allow you to do so while you are covered in dirt, grime and is that blood? Yeah, blood stains are almost impossible to wash out, so it would be preferable you clean up right away so you don't get any on the floor either," I insisted as he simply glared at me in response. "Look (y/n), I'm exhausted so I'm going to overlook the fact you just demanded me to do something. I had a lot of tasks to do so I've been traveling all over the galaxy and haven't had any time to relax, in fact even my teleporter is worn out because of all my objectives," he let out a tired sigh as he pulled out his small blue square which was flickering a faint blue light. I stared at it and then looked back up at him with an apologetic look. "I'm sorry, that was rude of me. This house is quite new though, so I'd like to keep it clean for longer if that's possible. Soaking in the bathtub will definitely help you relax though, it even has jets that kind of massage you and you can also use my special soap that has a nice sweet scent which will definitely put you at ease. Also I can help fix your teleporter while you're in there!" I smiled as I gently removed the blue square from his hand.
"Fine, having all this dirt on me is making me feel itchy anyways. Also my teleporter doesn't require fixing, it just needs to be charged a little and slightly tweaked to get better performance. And one more thing," he stated as he walked by the oven. "Make more of those muffins, I'm starving and that won't be enough to satisfy me." I made sure he went into the bathroom before letting out a sigh in relief that my furniture will be clean and nice for yet another day. After running to my room to start charging the blue square, I fiddled around with it to push certain parts of it back into place to get it to work more efficiently. Then I left it go continue charging by plugging it up to the supercomputer before going back to the kitchen to make more eggs-traordinary muffins. I settled on making two more batches since there was only so much room in the oven. By the time I had finished mixing up the muffin mixure and poured it into the pans, the first batch was already done and it was time to take it out and put the other batches in.
I put on some mits, then opened the oven to pull the muffin tray out then slid in the others. The oven had caused the room to heat up slightly, which was nice since it was getting colder at night. Even though I was hungry, I still had to wait for about ten minutes for the muffins cooled down before it was okay to eat them. I decided to pass the time by looking at recipes in my cookbook. That was when the though occurred to me, what if I made lunch to take to Skool tomorrow? The lunches they served there seemed very bland and somewhat inedible to say the least and since I had some time, I will make something delicious to bring along with me. I browsed the book until I found this noodle based dish called "Tagliatelle" which seemed like a good choice.
