Halloween Special

It was just another day of Skool, except for the fact that everyone was dressed up in costumes. This was the human holliday known as Halloween, a tradition where younger children wear costumes and go door to door asking for sweets and teenagers go around wearing costumes in order to scare the younger children. Before that I think it used to be some sort of satanic holliday where people sacrifice children, luckily for them times have changed for the better. Since I also have the look of a human child, I decided to wear a costume too. To be honest, it was kind of fun dressing up in something other than normal clothes everyday. Even so, there was something about the general aura I've been sensing since the day began that put me on edge.

Dib seemed to also be slightly more paranoid than usual for some reason. I pulled out a piece of paper and started to write a note to ask if he was okay. As I was writing, Ms. Bitters seemed to notice and before I could finish, she swooped over to my desk and snatched the paper from under my pencil. "We're in the middle of class (y/n), this isn't Valentine's day so stop writing love letters and focus on writing the essay you were assigned!" she hissed as she began shredding the note to bits. I stared at the pieces that were now scattered on the floor in front of the desk. "Oh I finished that a while ago, see it's right here," I casually replied as I picked it off my desk and held it up for her to see. For a moment she stared at with disbelief before resuming to act passive aggressive towards me. "Very well, now clean up this mess and wait for further instructions," she ordered as she snatched my essay on The History of Witch Trials before snaking her way back to her desk.

I started to pick up the paper bits that fell in front of my desk before a ringing sound filled my ears. The majority of the other students flooded out of the classroom as that was the final bell of the day. All that remained in the class were Ms. Bitters, Dib, Zim and myself. I tossed the paper bits into the nearest trashcan before returning to my desk to grab my bag. Before I could get close enough to grab it however, a figure shifted itself in front of my path. At first I assumed it to be Ms. Bitters, but quickly realized that it was Zim. "(Y/n)! Tell me… does my expertly crafted disguise amaze you?" he beamed as I stared at him in confusion. He seemed oddly happy about his disguise, which I assumed was his costume rather than his human disguise. Dressing up clearly was not his strong suite as his amazing disguise consisted of his normal attire and what appeared to be two fake white fangs sticking out the sides of his mouth.

"Yeah it looks great," I sigh as I attempt to get around him to get my bag. Unfortunately, he continued to block my path as I attempted to grab at my bag. "Say, between you and me, do you think this disguise possesses the power to make others bend over in fear? Not that my very presence already accomplishes that already- do I not radiate with more superiority than usual?" he smirked as I continued to reach for my bag. "Yes, you're terrifying. Can you please move so I can get my bag now?" I ask, trying my best not to sound rude even though I was starting to get a little frustrated with not being able to reach my bag. As if he had not listened to a word I said, he immediately ran off shouting about how he will conquer the Halloweenies by intimidation. For a moment I was lost in thought wondering what these "Halloweenies" were, I could only assume that he was referring to the children or maybe perhaps some sort of tasty sausage.
