Everything is perfect. I have every room in my cabin completely spotless and dusted and polished. Now just to keep it that way.
"Adam can you keep the place clean while I'm gone for the next few days?" I ask grabbing my small suitcase.
"You got it. And Tyler is still going to try daycare?" Adam questions
"No.... I don't trust the people and I'm not trusting just anyone with my little girl." I smile.
"Am I staying when you return?"
"No. Unless it snows earlier this year. Then bring the emergency rations and maybe some venison." I give Adam a hug and kiss the napping Tyler.
"Goodbye (y/n) have safe travels." Adam whispers as I leave the house to go and pick up my friends.
"ROAD TRIP!" Stephen yells hopping into the front seat.
"Stephen I called shotgun!" Dan groans.
"Well I got here first." Stephen sticks his tongue out.
"Boys stop fighting or I'm not taking you to the hot spring." I shake my head.
"We are friendly arguing not fighting." Stephen declares.
"Whatever.... are all of you guys ready for this?"
"Yes!" Hosuh cheers getting into the back seat excitedly.
"Dan get your seat belt on and we can go." I look at him. Everyone buckled up and we go to the hot springs nearby.
It's late when I get downtown. The perks of living far away in the mountains. I check into the hotel and claim one of the two beds as mine, the other three can have a fight on who'll share with me.
I end up falling asleep while waiting for them to call me to pick them up from the airport.
