Finding Her Again (danplan x Reader)

I'm shocked. Now Stephen is showing me that he likes me... and he couldn't have done this in highschool???

I completely freak out and find myself wandering the cabin. I check and see Tyler is asleep.

"Geez...." I sigh leaning over the edge of the balcony.

"Can't sleep?" I hear Dan say from behind me.

"Yeah... and my studio is a bit stuffy." I laugh.

"You didn't show us in there, is it like a dungeon." Dan jokes walking next to me.

"It just... has everything that I wish didn't happen in there. But I'm starting to throw stuff away." I give him a lopsided smile.

"Well, if you need to talk about things with anyone, just know you have me." He holds my hand.

"I know. It's just... I don't want to weigh you down with the heavy stuff that's happened. Stuff that's unfair that I went through, but I guess it makes me... myself?"

"Well you are you for a reason and I think you are amazing." He blushes slightly. I yawn and Dan laughs.

"Don't laugh...." I mutter embarrassed.

"Let's get you to bed. I don't want you to be tired." Dan gently pulls me inside and into my room, where I grab my clothes and change in my closet.

"Thank you. I really appreciate it..." I whisper while lying down.

"Don't mention it." He smiles and goes to walk out but I grab his hand.

"Umm... Dan would you lie by me until I fall asleep?" I blush.

"Oh sure." He blushes as deep as me. I feel the bed behind me sink and Dan holds me against his chest.

"Thank you." I yawn and fall asleep.

Dan kisses her forehead and whispers about how amazing she is before he falls asleep too, holding her as tight as he can.
