Finding Her Again (danplan x Reader)

The next day I wake up later than usual and am in a huge rush to get the videos I can get filmed done.... but I can't pay attention to anything besides the echo of Hosuh telling me he hates me.

I stop filming and put everything neatly back in the box. I'll just explain that I tried filming earlier and didn't like it.

I open my laptop and use it to video chat Hosuh. He probably won't answer but it's worth a chance. I remember saying something about him living in Montreal and so it's just past lunchtime there.

"What do you want?" Hosuh answers with a groggy voice.

"I want to apologize to you. I couldn't sleep knowing that you hate me and I couldn't even sit in front of my camera without wanting to cry on your doorstep until I'm forgiven..." I rub the back of my neck awkwardly.

"I cried because you left. For almost a year I'd cry myself to sleep. And now you show up out of nowhere and want to be friends again? I don't think I can do that with how much I hurt when you left." Hosuh explains running a hand through his hair.

"If I wasn't related to my family and still transferred to the school we met at... I would never have left. But leaving wasn't my choice it was a move so I didn't ruin anyone's life by them being caught in the crossfires." I whisper.

"What do you mean?"

"It's such a long story I don't even know it all... but I had a stalker pretty much and it got to the point where they would have killed to have me..." I look away ashamed.

"Oh... I never thought about you leaving as something to save us instead of hurt us." His voice is full of shame.

"Hey. Just know we saved eachothers lives and hopefully are still best friends?"

"Fine. We are still best friends." A small blush appears on his face which only causes me to smile more.

"Great! So Stephen, Dan and I thought it'd be fun to meet up and you could come see my new place? I'd pay for the plane and such."

"Well ok... sure. When do you want to do that?" He has his huge smile on his face which just melts my heart.

"The end of November? Early December?"
