Finding Her Again (danplan x Reader)

The next evening I sit down a bit early to get on and record with danplan. I have absolutely no idea what is planned or if I'm going to get a video too but I'm excited.

Before I open the link I was sent, Tyler comes running in crying. I pick her up and sit her on my lap.

"Mommy! Adam won't stop telling me that I can't eat Mac and cheese for dinner!" The three year old cries into my chest.

"Tell Adam that I said you can have some. And tomorrow we will have pizza." I tap her nose causing her to smile.

"Can I stay in here mommy?" Tyler whispers with big puppy eyes.

"No. Mommy has to work and then it's bedtime for you silly girl." I set her back onto the ground and she runs off.

Seeing her smile in the doorway makes me tear up. She's the best thing to happen to me. She's so smart and caring but also wild and outgoing.

I hold the small bundle in my arms. The first time I ever held her. An overwhelming amount of love flows through my body and I can't help but cry.

This tiny human being in my arms just sleeping peacefully gives me a purpose to be who I am and not hide anymore.

I rub my thumb over her cheek and she gives me a smile. The cutest smile I've ever seen in my entire life.

"Hi little one. I'm your mommy." I coo and she gurgles back. My new life has begun.

I snap out of my memory and see I'm five minutes late. I click the link and I'm on a voice call with three others.

"Wow sorry I'm five minutes late! I had to deal with a problem.... and yeah... there was a fight over Mac and cheese." I say the second it shows that I connected. All the talking stops and I feel a bit awkward.

"Hi...? Oh my gosh please tell me I didn't click the wrong link AGAIN...."
