Chapter Two-The Team

"Adam!" a voice shouts. I think it's Ty.

"Yeah?" he shouts back, and we walk upstairs to the couches.

"Who'd you adopt?" Ty asks.

"Hi, I'm Zoe." I say shyly.

"Ty." he smiles. "This is Ian, Mitch, Jerome, Quentin's out, and Jason."

"Hi." I say, and give a small wave.

"You shy?" Jerome chuckles,smiling.

"Um, yeah." I giggle.

"Don't be. We're not going to hurt you like they did." Adam says, giving a small smile.

"They hurt you?" Ian asks. He looks mad.

"Uh, yeah." I mutter.

"God, I'm so sorry." he says. He hugs me, and I start to cry a bit.

"Hey, It's okay." Adam says, and joins in on the hug.

"PRIZZA!" I hear a voice yell from downstairs, and the door slam.

"Quentie!" Jerome laughs, and we run downstairs.

"Who's this?" Quentin asks when he sees me.

"This is Zoe." Adam laughs.

"Nice to meet you Zoe!" Quentin exclaims. Mitch opens the prizza, and we dig in.

"PRIZZA IS LOVE. PRIZZA IS LIFE." Jason shouts. We all break out laughing, and when we're done, we go swimming. Since I don't have a bathing suit, I sit on the rocks with my feet in the waterfall while they swim.

"Yo Zoe! Look out!" Jason laughs, and I feel a push to my back. I look up, and Jerome is standing behind me, watching, laughing, as I fall into the pool.

"You little-..." I pause, thinking of an insult, " You make horrible power moves!"

"Oh no you didn't!" he fake-sasses me. "You did NOT just insult the Pope!!"

"Did so," I smirk, and he dives in, taking me down with him. I kick and thrash, but this son of a Power Mover won't let go until we surface!

"Ooooh, she got you goood!" Mitch laughs.

I think I'm going to like it here.
