"May? It's past midnight. Are you alright? Should I play for you again?"

"No, I'm fine. I was just thinking. That kept me up."

"What were you thinking about?"

"Lots of stuff actually. Me, my parents, us."

"Us?"

"Yes. I was just wondering. After what you said yesterday, I started to think about what it would be like if we actually did know each other."

"Well, I guess we'll never know, because we don't."

"I just wonder if it would've changed anything between us. Now we can talk about anything, because we don't know each other. It gives you a certain freedom, right?"

"I guess it does. It's like I don't have to worry about what I say, because you can't use it against me. That's what you mean right?"

"Yes."

"But I still don't get why you're up about this. We don't know each other. Your secrets are safe with me. That will never change."

"It's just late, I guess. I always worry during the nights. And also because I kind of wish we did know each other. All this talking to you is making me miss you."

"We can meet each other. It's almost summer, so we can plan something during the holiday. We'll figure it out."

"But what if I'm too scared to actually meet you?"

"You're not. Like you said: you're a big girl, you can handle it. And otherwise I'll just come to you, so you don't have a choice."

"Yeah."

"Let me play something for you, so you won't have to worry anymore."

"Alright."

"I'm still practising this one, so don't judge me if it isn't perfect."

"I'll try."

...

"May? Are you still there?"

"..."

"Goodnight, May."
