The morning was fresh and bright. I woke with a joyful excitement running through my body.
I was going to spend a whole day with Adrien. I'm going to talk to him! Laugh with him! Go on rollercoasters with him!
Today is going to be the BEST DAY OF MY LIFE!!!
My spirit was jumping with joy. I couldn't wait. By the time I finished getting ready, Luka burst into my room like yesterday.
But unlike yesterday, I am very prepared.
"Ready, Punkinette?" he smirked. I was wearing the same outfit I picked for myself yesterday with a few additions.
He was also wearing the outfit I picked for him.
I hadn't noticed I started sweating, "W-what if something goes wrong, Luka?? W-what if he has to leave early- or-- I mess up- or worse-! WHAT IF HE NEVER SHOWS UP?" I panicked.
Luka frowned, "Well its too late to start thinking now! Everything will be fine! I'm sure of it!" he waved his hand dismissively.
My teeth started chattering, "Luka...!"
He rolled his eyes and grabbed my wrist, "Come on, let's go." he grumbled.
The morning breeze held promise. It was fresh and cold.
I even caught the scent of cologne in the air.
Wait... cologne?
I looked around, there was nobody outside but me and Luka.
Is... is Luka wearing cologne??
"So, are we taking a cab?" I asked, deciding to ignore the scent. Luka walked to the side of the bakery. He shook his head, but his eyes were gleaming.
They were sparkling with a certain light that caused him to smile. "I hope you can hold your grip well." he chuckled.
I was about to ask what he meant before I set eyes on a black and silver motorcycle in the shadow of the bakery.
I turned back to Luka and only just noticed how messy his hair was.
HE CAN DRIVE A MOTORCYCLE?!
My knees started trembling. I never rode a motorcycle before... the thought of the speed made my stomach lurch.
"Y-you... you can drive that?" I breathed in shock.
He grinned, "I'm short on money so we can't take a cab. We'll just have to settle for this alternative." he said as he walked toward his very shiny vehicle.
I followed behind, marvelling at its beauty and intricate mechanics.
"Wow." my fingers grazed it's reflective surface.
"Do you even have a licence for this?" I questioned suspiciously. He laughed, "Of course." before mounting it.
He gave me a hand up and gave me a helmet before puting one on himself.
"Actually, this is Juleka's bike. Mine is currently getting repairs." he told me, much to my surprise.
"JULEKA CAN RIDE A MOTORCYCLE TOO?!" I exclaimed through the helmet.
Luka laughed, "Yeah, she doesn't use hers as much as I use mine, so she didn't mind me borrowing it."
"Hey, Mari?" he asked.
"Yeah?" I replied.
I heard a small chuckle before he whispered, "Think fast."
I didn't have enough time to question him before he started the motorcycle and sped off.
