Ch 31 Prelude to Second World War

Next morning, I woke up and walked towards the dojo. Now that I know the exact way to become powerful. First time in my life I felt a little relaxed. This freezing cold air outside also feels like spring breeze.

It was like in my previous life. People have absurd aim but they don't know what should they do to achieve it.

Like, someone wants to enter in financial market but they don't know how to start. Which university to go, what books should I read. Which online tutorial is best, which youtube video are good. Because we have limited time and want to achieve success by taking the best procedure.

Most of the time we felt fear that have we chosen the path which we donot have ability to achieve? or Can I achieve my dream when I am still young? Regarding our dreams we have so many questions and doubts.

So, when we do find the right way, it clears away lot of fog. The feeling we felt when we know the right way to achieve our aim, is what I am feeling right now.

As I walked in the dojo, I was surprised by the tense atmosphere. Big brother was practicing swords with all three brothers. This is the first time I saw big brother ever practicing in two years.

I whispered to fourth brother,"What happened?"

He said " after 15 days, traditional samurai and chakra samurais will fight in a competition."

I got curious because I often heard these two groups of people always arguing about the right way of samurai.

I asked "What's the prize?".

"Oh, prize!..this time it is different. If chakra samurais won then they will be officially recognized."

I felt puzzled "isn't chakra samurai not official then why are all the dojos are teaching both types of samurais way? Our dojo has also both type of disciples."

"It was semi-official till now. To become elder, you have to be trained in ancient way but after this, Chakra samurai can also become elder if they are powerful enough." Fourth brother said.

Somewhere at the secret location of Iron Country:

Five people were sitting around on tatami. A maid walked slowly in the room. Her steps were moving very slow and careful as if she was walking on a thin rope. But from the looks, you couldn't detect any tension from her face.

She poured tea one by one to everyone. Her movement was very fluid as though she had practiced this moment thousands time. Then, she walks back without turning around until she reached out of the room and closes the door.

"Hiroshi, why are you supporting these vulgar ideology? How can you shame the ancestors?" a bulky samurai who has only one arm spoke.

Before Hiroshi spoke another samurai in armor got angry, "Satoshi, who you are calling? I am samurai by heart. I still regard myself as a sword and my conviction for peace has never wavered. I would never hesitate to sacrifice myself for peace and my people."

"Okay, okay... don't fight. And we all have same conviction that's why we all sitting in the same room. But we have to address the main problem this time." one of the oldest samurai said.

He continued "Now most of the ninja power has concentrated in five villages. All other clans who didn't join any villages are secretly annexed. I heard this time a lot of spies are becoming active in village of Uzumaki Clan."

"Although personal strength of ninjas are not powerful as older times but their constant innovative ninjutsu and collaboration of several clans has ultimately increased the power of ninjas in whole world."

"Any clan would not have become challenge to us in the past but now Ninja village as a whole have become really unmatched. We have seen their power in first world-war."

"These villages provide safe haven for ninjas. So their no.s are increasing."

"Last two decades samurais have felt pressure in maintaining peace. Not everyone can sacrifice their life for their ideal. This is also the core reason that new Chakra Samurai are emerging."

Again one armed samurai got angry "Why these youngsters do not have patience? Because of their inability, we would become shame for our ancestors."

Oldest samurai said again "Not everyone is genius. Samurai path is really difficult than ninja. And it take years of practice to realize True kendo. Now the question is, should we officially incorporate chakra samurai?"

Silence descended.

After some time, Hiroshi spoke "We need new powerful blood to maintain peace. Our ancestors picked swords to maintain peace. And if we can't fulfill the main motto to maintain peace than we would really fail our ancestors."

"We have already withdrawn our presence from the five countries and accepted the neutrality agreement."

"But, we ourselves knows that samurais are no longer that powerful in front of ninja villages. Only reason that we are politically stable is because  of few of us remaining old timers."

"We all have 20-30years of time left. If we weren't able to train new leaders as powerful as us than let alone world peace, we wont be able to maintain peace of our country."

"So, officially accepting chakra samurais is our way out. They are much easier to train than traditional ways and can easily become powerful in a short time to match normal ninjas."

Hall again become silenced but this time everyone has agreed what this handsome looking samurai said. If Kouske was here, he would have been surprised that his sensei at dojo is one of the leaders of Iron country who just spoke.

Konoha- Hokage's office:

Few elder looking people sitting around 3rd hokage.

"Sarutobi(third hokage) I need permission to recruit more people in roots. Spies have become more frequent in recent months." Danzo spoke.

"Cough..cough.." Third hokage evaded the question by asking "I heard unrest is happening in Uzumaki clan".

Danzo spoke again "First hokage gave them chance to join konoha village. We are allies but we donot have obligation to help them."

Third hokage looked at other leaders. But nobody spoke. Nobody wants to fight an unrelated war. In past 20-30 years, konoha has acquired almost all the sealing techniques and even mastered few sealing equipment making technology.

In the eyes of village elders, uzumaki clan have no further use. The alliance between them have become just a piece of paper.

Third hokage knocked the pipe on table then said "well, situation doesn't seem that bad and we haven't received any request for help. Let's wait for few months for situation to unfold."
