'Meanwhile in hosu'

3rd person pov:

A little ways from Hosu is a small neighborhood that is settled there. It's more quiet and homely than the huddle and bustle of the nearby city. In the center of the neighborhood lies a particular house, which is also the home of...(y/n). A girl with a big dream with a one-track mind. She always wanted to be a hero but for reason her mother won't allow it. (Y/n) would always push for answers but the subject would always change. No matter how much she confronts her.

(Y/n) knew something was up, since her own mother won't give a single reason for her claims. But she won't think about that for now, as a sparring session is about to issue.

(Y/n) pov:

'For a plain and simple quirk, it's kinda hard to get around.' Rushing forward, I try to maneuver around the flames to get to him. The fire was hot, burning and flickering at my skin. I know good and well I'm not getting out of this fight unscathed but neither will my opponent, I'll make sure of it!!

Sparks fly from my legs as I propel myself forward, past the flames, through the smoke and to my attacker. As I ran, the sparks around me started to fuse, becoming bigger and more vibrant. I knew at this point I was practically a blur, with only my fading colorful explosions to give my opponent a warning. As I neared, he opened his mouth to blast fire on himself to create a type of armour. The collision was great as it knocked the wind out of both of us. I used the momentum of the knockback to jump off my back onto my feet, preparing to counter. I shot fireworks from my mouth into a concentrated beam, hoping to overwhelm. Just as I did, he shot flames from his mouth. The two attacks fused together and exploded, making me reel from the force of the blast.

'well that was inconenient.' The thought passed through my head as quickly as it came. As the dust cleared, I could easily see now that he was still standing, barely ruffled. It was frustrating and humiliating to know that he was standing, proud as he could be while I was on the ground, gasping for air.

'looks like I have more training to do...' Like if he was reading my mind, he looked at me with a stern expression but with a warmth of his eyes:

" All that speed is not going to amount to much if you can't back it up. Your practically a glass cannon. If your going to be a hero, then you are going to have to focus on exercises other than cardio. You have to learn to take hits before you give them."

This is what I mean, he always wanted me to be a hero....to be the best I can be! Exactly the opposite of my mother, who doesn't even want me to be a hero in the first place and has yet to tell me why!! I tried to train in secret because she can't change my mind. I will become a hero with or without her support.

"(Y/n)?" I snapped out of my state with a dazed look but it slowly turned into a look of gratitude. He was the only one that agreed to train me, to make me better and to see clearer goals. He knew that mom wouldn't let me be a hero, but still helped me against her wishes. Thanks to him, im getting closer to my goal. I'm forever grateful.....

"Thanks dad."
