Midoriya's pov:
Dinner was more nostalgic than I thought it would be. I never would have thought I would miss mom's cooking, but I guess I shouldn't have underestimated the value of home.
Mom also cooked my favorite; Katsudon. I also never would have thought how much I missed this while I was at school. Tears pricked in my eyes at the thought.
'It tastes so good!!!'
I could tell mom was watching me from the corner of my eye; maybe judging my eating habits.
But as I look a tad closer, I see a smile. Doubtful and maybe full of uncertainty, but a smile nonetheless.
I wonder what she is thinking about; to make a smile like that. If only I had a mind-reading quirk, but then that's invading privacy and it would just get weird and awkward. No matter how cool the quirk night seem.
After we talked and ate, I bid mom goodnight. She said she would help me pack my things for Hosu tomorrow. Gran Torino called me to say that they was going to Hosu first for "villain cleanup." Which kinda made sense. Maybe he didn't want to show up empty handed. Maybe that's what All Might meant by being prepared. Maybe....
"Enough About maybes.....I want answers"
'Though...maybe...tomorrow..'

3rd person POV:
While in the irony of the thought, he passed out. Probably too fast to be considered normal. Maybe fast enough to be considered medical. But in this moment, it doesn't even matter, as he dove into a strange dream.

"Hello!?!?"
It was dark...and silent. Only his foot falls and voice sounded around the void.
"Anyone....there?"
At the same time of sentence, light poured into the void; lighting up the area.
Midoriya watches with an absurd expression of awe and fear.
"What's....this!?!?"
The area then exploded with light along with blinding Midoriya. While he was shielding his eyes, a voice- that sounded like multiple people talking at once- spoke to him:
From the dark into the light,
Side by side to fight.
Part of you non full blood,
Easily misunderstood.
Warped in time in a bond,
Shine as brightly as the sun.
Before all shall start,
Seek one that bares your mark.
The words echoed around him as everything got brighter.....then collapsed.
