Chapter 5: Prophecy

'Back in Hosu'

3rd person pov:

While Izuku was preparing for the worst, Y/n was preparing for sleep; for another day of training will be certain. But she certainly couldn't prepare for the dream that came to her that night....

She saw herself in 3rd person, wondering through a misty darkness. Nothing or no one was there, setting up a eerie silence.

Then a beam of light shot through the mist and into her eyes. The light then poured into the place of where she stood. She couldn't speak or blink as all of this happened.

Then she heard a voice. A voice so soft, one would think they would have to strain to listen. But she heard it perfectly:

From the dark to the light,
Side by side to fight.

Part of you non full blood,
Easily misunderstood.

Warped in time in a bond,
Shine as brightly as the sun.

Before all shall start,
Seek one that bares your mark.

As the words went on, the space was getting brighter and brighter.... Then everything glitches violently while being plunged into darkness.....as if the dream was corrupted and expired.

Y/n's pov:

"Y/n!!" "Y/n!!"

Someone was yelling in my ear and breaking my eardrums. I jerked my head up to see my dad with a panicked expression.

'what's happening?'

"Oh, good! Your awake!"
'yeah....I figured'

Dad looked at me with suspicion and concern. "What were you dreaming about? I was calling you downstairs for breakfast but you never came down. When I came up here, you were spasming out and mumbling a chant of some sort."

I froze in horror. ' did he hear what I said?? I have to make sure..'

"What did I say?"

Dad looks confused and thoughtful

'good.'

"I have no idea.....do you?"

I really don't remember. The only phrase I remember is 'seek one that bares your mark.' What does that mean? I don't have any scars or cuts of any kind....WAIT I HAVE A BIRTHMAR-

"If you find out about it, would you tell? It was very worrying."

I don't really thing I should tell. Even if I could, I wouldn't know how to explain it. I'm afraid if I told him, he would declare me as crazy. And I certainly can't tell mother. Who knows how she will react. I can't chance it.

" I will." It would be best to lie right now. If I said no, it would just make him more suspicious of me.

He smiled warmly with a hint of uncertainty. I'm not surprised.

"Lets go down to breakfast for now. We'll figure this out later."

Sounds good, but first...

"Wait! I'm going to be up here for a couple more minutes. I have to look for something."

He looks at me with pity. ' He probably thinks I'm shook...which I am.'

"Alright then. But not for long. The food will get cold...if not already."

'I have to check something!!'

"Ok"

He then leaves to go eat the now cold food. 'My chance!'

I look into my arm to see anything with my birthmark. I did.....it was more profound than before. It's white....and faintly...

Glowing.
