Chapter 3: prepare

'Back at U.A'

Midoriya's pov:

This is horrible! How could this happen??? Isn't Tartarus the most secure and the most guarded prison in the world!?!? How could they escape? Did All For One escape too!?!? Did someone on the outside assist? That is the only logical explanation! Ohhh this is so bad-

"I will start answering your questions if you stop asking them."

I looked up at All Might. 'I really need to stop doing that...'

With that thought gone and away, I looked up at All Might expectantly. "To answer your questions, It would seem that an outside force broke through the prison. I felt like it was Obvious on who it was considering the bricks was disintegrated instead of broken."

'Shigaraki!' It WAS Obvious. But how did he get close without being noticed? Didn't kurogiri get arrested after All For One's defeat? He is the only escape route the villians have. As if All Might was reading my mind (or I was muttering again) he spoke with a grave, defeated tone: "Kurogiri would be the best bet for the assist. Don't forget he can throw warps at great distances. It would make sense if he warped Shigaraki to the prison when the guards was distracted."

Is this really happening or I'm I still dreaming? If I'm dreaming, I would be so glad to wake up from it. "It's very likely that the villians went into hiding afterwards. U.A high and all pro heroes got reports about suspicious characters appearing all over Japan around the dark and the abandoned. Most often in Hosu." My heart stops at that name.

' The Hero Killer! He probably escaped along with everyone else! It wouldn't be above or below him to get revenge on the ones that put him in that prison in the first place. Why else would he go back?'

"Also..." All Might drawls out

"Gran Torino requested for you to come with him to investigate the prison. He thinks it would a good experience without having to fight, for which I can agree." I can agree too. I already know who broke in. Now I have to find out why, what are they planning and how are they going to execute it. "I won't let you down!" I can't let him down. Not now and hopefully not ever. All Might looks down at me with a warm gaze "That is the least of my worries, young Midoriya."
'I sure do hope it's not because I'm not feeling the most confident.'

"One last favor for me..." I looked up in surprise. "Y-yes?" All Might's eyes slitted slightly and his face hardened. "Don't engage in combat until Gran Torino grants it so."

'what?'

"B-but I already got my heroes license!!"

All might immediately rebutted "yes, but you seem to forget how reckless you are and that trouble attracts to you like a magnet! I would make you promise me to be more careful and cautious but we both know that's not going to happen." I tried my best to make myself heard but he shut me down.

"I'm only doing this to protect you...." All Might's voice was the definition of guilt and sorrow. "I still remember the Hosu incident like it was yesterday." He stared at me with an expression that rivaled a worried parent. "You were all the way in Tokyo and I couldn't do a thing... I can't let it happen again..."

His hair overshadowed his eyes as he clenched his fists, with tears peering at his eyes before they fell. I never seen him like this since he lost his power. It was an unnerving sight. But I couldn't help but understand where he was coming from. He is the closest to a father I ever had. He didn't want to lose me and....I couldn't deal with losing him either.

After we dried up our tears, I was told to visit mom since I was going to be gone for awhile.

"Make sure you take supplies or anything you might deem necessary." That didn't seem right. Surely I wouldn't be gone for that long. "Wait!! What I'm I going to be doing other than to investigate??" All Might looked at me with the most grim expression I've seen.

"Prepare."
