The next day was weird. Jannelle, Belle, Olivia, Dominique, and I stayed in our room, now dilapidated with age, and talked the whole night. Belle was explaining to us how we have to stay alive here and be careful. If we were to die here in the future, everything will change and our descendants would cease to exist. We all listen to her as I stare at my weapon in its glass column.
Everyone is quiet. Our descendants were staring at us in admiration. I wave at Artemis with a sly smile on my face. Jannelle walks passed Lexi straight ahead and Lexi follows her. I run behind Artemis and I tap her shoulder. She turns around, swinging to hit me. I catch her hand before it hits my face. "Woah there, sugar. One little thing about me. If you're going to hit me anywhere, my face isn't a target. That's a good way to piss me off." She tries to wrench her hand out of my grasp but I tighten it. She gasps in pain and nods in understanding. I drop her hand and walk towards a white room with gold trim around it. It was filled with white chairs, couches, and decor. Artemis sits down on one of the couches and stares at me as I walk around, admiring the room. Finally, I snap my head towards her and lock eyes with her.
Her pupils widen and she looks as if she's in a daze. I walk to the couch she's sitting on and I sit beside her.
"You know, I always wondered if I should have kids. I guess it'll happen either way, now that I see you. So, from my observations, your name is Artemis. You don't remember your past fully and you've been hanging with Trixi and Hera for a very long time. You've only known Celeste for a while because she helped you three. I see that you haven't truly mastered your powers but you're at a good point with them. Let's see.....I'm from 1819. So most likely you're my great-great-great-great-great-granddaughter. That's quite interesting." Artemis is trying to speak but only her mouth was moving and no sound was coming out. I snap my fingers and weird sounds emitted from her mouth. She was broken out of her daze and she looked at me with an ugly look on her face. "If you want to talk, then you don't have to use your powers on me bitch, " Artemis says after clearing her throat. She walks up to me and stands in front of me, face to face. I stand back up. We're the same height. Her eyes were almost like mine except but not as red as mine. Her hair was black and curly, just like mine but cut short. Instead of a round head, she had a teardrop-shaped head. Everything else, just the same. She looks me up and down, sits down and I do the same. As expected, she drops a few questions. "If you're a Pureblood, is it true that all of you have Blood Magic? Can you guys walk around under the sun without a Protection Ring? Are you evil? A-" I stop her by yawning loudly and rolling my eyes. Shaking my head, I answer all of her questions.
"No, only a few have Blood Magic. No, we have Protection Artifacts. I'm not fucking evil. That question was stupid." She flips me off and crosses her arms. She stares at me with a weird look. I feel the tension rise to a high level and she asks me a question. "How come I'm not a Pureblood?" I was pacing around the room, but I stop at this. I mean, I wouldn't know the answer to that question. This is way ahead of the future for me. Also, if she's not Pureblood, then my descendants probably copulated with......humans. I shiver at this thought. I turn towards her and say, "To be a Pureblood, you must have someone who's a Pureblood vampire. You should know this already.....unless you wanted a different answer...?" I raise my eyebrows and she nods her head in agreement. Artemis gets up and gets ready to go. I follow her out of the room and we walk to the kitchen. We see Jannelle and Lexi are talking to each other.
They were finishing up and the rest of us file in. The descendants were walking out the door and running out to get to their cars to get there on time. Dominique was flipping through one of the books that were in the room. She calls all of our attention. Apparently, Belle had triplets and all of them are around the world. Jannelle had two children, a boy, and a girl. I had two female twins. Olivia had one child, a boy. Dominique had four children. She also said she went out exploring. There was a man by the name of Micro Johnson. He's waiting for us, where he usually hangs out. This information was random as fuck.
"Why would he be waiting for us? Is he a human, because if he is, I won't hesitate to leave after beating his ass." Dominique is quick to shake her head. "No, he actually uses magic. He's something like a mage." She catches Belle's attention with that statement. She gets closer to Dominique and puts her hands on her face. "You mean he's a witch- well, a wizard or a- Whatever the fuck you called him? It's weird to think about this. It's fairly rare to see male use magic. We'll see how powerful he is when we meet him?" I glare and bare my teeth. "We're actually going to meet this man. For all we know, he might be with Daniel and Julian ready to finish us off. I'm not going."
Jannelle walks to me, puts her hand on my shoulder, and says, "You do realize only you would know his true intentions with your powers, right?"
"Oh."
Jannelle sighs. "And.........this is why you're the dumb ass in the group."
