All of our descendants are shocked by this news. Celeste starts clapping in excitement. All heads snap to her when she says, "This means that you're my friends' grandparents. Wow, this is so exciting. I'm friends with Royal Vampires." Artemis' face switches from shock to disgust in an instant. "Ew, I'm not calling you 'grandma' or 'grandmother.'" She crosses her arms. I roll my eyes at that and say, "I don't want you to call me that either way. Just say my name. Also, I'm not your grandmother yet until I go back to the Past and push your mother out of my vagina." Trix starts to retch as if she was going to vomit and I laugh. Lexi scans the room in confusion and she scratches the back of her neck. I look to Jannelle and raise my eyebrow at her. She shakes her head at me. I whisper in her ear, "You can't act like that towards her. It's not her fault that she wasn't a vampire to begin with. You need to ask her if she has both of her parents and did she know her grandparents before her transition." Jannelle pulls her head back at what I said.

"I know that's not something you want to do, but consider it. You don't want her to feel like you don't claim her, do you?" She rolls her eyes and doesn't respond to me. She walks to Lexi and they leave the room. I feel a hand on the small of my back and I look behind me to see Daniel, smiling at me. "She's stubborn as fuck."
"I am aware, Daniel. I'm stubborn as well. You know, if I found out that I'm going to taint the bloodline, I'd feel some type of way too. You just have to be patient with her." He shakes his head at this. Celeste calls our attention and points at me. "I have a question for you, Shadowblade." I walk up to her, stopping beside Hera. "Ask away, Celeste. It better not be anything ignorant or all-knowing, though." She smiles and says, "Oh, trust me. It's not. I just want to know this: Isn't Daniel the one who aided in trying to kill you in your first Fate? I mean, it's weird how you would want to get with him-" I interrupt her, annoyed. "That wasn't him. He was being controlled by someone. He wasn't himself. Now, I have a question for you, if you don't mind." She's about to answer, but I didn't give her a chance. "Why did you ask me that in this manner? You made everyone in here stop what they were doing to listen to you ask that stupid question. You must have something up your sleeve. Oh wait. You must've thought you were trying to dumbfound me. That is quite unfortunate." Celeste starts to play with her marble nails and shift her feet. She opens her mouth to respond, but it's interrupted with a huge crash coming from another room.

We speed to the room it came from and I see Jannelle standing in the middle of the room with both daggers out. I see Lexi in front of her with her hands out in front of her. I take my Rose of Death, the Rose is red. I inch towards her and say, "Jannelle, put the daggers down. Be smart about this." Jannelle looks up from me and I stopped abruptly. Her eyes are a milky white, just like Daniel's eyes were back in the Past. I grip my hilt of the Rose and it turns a light grey. I scan the room. A bookcase is on the floor, a vase is shattered, and the window is broken. I look back at Jannelle, who's staring at me with a killing intent. I grin at her and ask, "Who is this and why are you taking control of my best friend's body?" Her head twitches and she answers, "I don't have to answer to you, Royal Bitch."The voice inside of her was gravelly and low. Lexi shimmies away as I begin to circle around Jannelle. I stop in front of the open window, the moon's light shining on my back.

Her daggers glimmer in the light as Jannelle spins them in fighting position. She says, "You might've killed the weak wolf but I'm not to be trifled with. You shall meet your end." She speeds towards me and slashes her daggers at me. I block them with my rapier and we're struggling against each other. Daniel comes up behind her to get her off of me but I tell him to stop. "Don't do that. You'll only make it worse and-" Before I can finish, she takes one dagger and tries to stab my arm, failing miserably. He continues anyways and kicks her in the back with much force, causing her to fly against me. We both soar out of the window, spinning and falling through the air. As we fall, I headbutt her and kick her further in the air. We separate and I see a tree and I try to land there. When I get closer to the tree, I catch a branch with one hand, but it breaks. I go through three branches before I land on a strong branch and I'm hanging from it.

I see Jannelle slumped against another tree, with blood coming out of her mouth. I drop down to the ground and speed to her body. She looks up to me and tries to talk to me. I shake my head and say, "No. Don't speak." Her eyes widen and points behind me. I turn around to see the one who is the reason why I am the way I am. The one who has given me hell ever since I was born. The one who killed all of my human friends when I was younger. The reason why humans think we're monsters.

Ambrosina, my mother.
