Clay ended the call with Gemma and sighed as he shook his head. He wasn't looking forward to having this conversation with Bobby but he knew that it couldn't be put off. Gemma thought that he needed to be back in Charming ASAP and Clay agreed. He knew that if it was his old lady, he'd break every law of the road to get to her.
He walked back inside the clubhouse at Indian Hills and saw all of his guys sitting at the tables in the corner, laughing and drinking. He sighed as he stopped at Bobby's table and looked his brother in the eye.
"That was Gem on the phone. There's been an accident."
Bobby sobered quickly. "Jake? Something happen to the boy?"
Clay shook his head as Chibs laid a hand on Bobby's shoulder. "No, it's Shiloh. She took Dani to school and fell asleep at the wheel on her way home. She's at St. Thomas." He held up a hand when Bobby started to speak. "Gemma didn't have any more information just yet. The doctors are still working on her."
Bobby nodded as he stood and faced Clay. "I need to get home."
Clay nodded. "Yeah, you do. Take Chibs and Jax with you. We'll be behind you as soon as the meeting's over." He clapped Bobby on the shoulder. "Go take care of your family."
As the three men practically ran from the clubhouse, Clay shook his head. He knew that Shi and the kids weren't Bobby's family just yet, but he also knew that if the quiet man had his way, they would be. He ran a hand over his crew cut and looked at the now-sober men around him. "They had to cut her out of the car. She hasn't woken up yet."
Happy cursed under his breath and shook his head. "Man, if something happens to her... "
Clay nodded. "Yeah, I know." He held up his hands. "Look, she's gonna be just fine, okay? If we think negative, then that's what we'll get." When the others nodded their agreement to that, he sighed before looking at Opie. "Get Jury in here. We need to get this shit taken care of so we can go home."

Gemma and Luann were sitting with Dani and Jacob when a man in a white coat walked out of the swinging doors to the E.R. He looked down at the clipboard in his hand before smiling gently at the foursome.
"Are you with Shiloh Harris?" When they nodded, he continued. "I'm Dr. Richards. I've been taking care of Shiloh since she came in." He looked down again. "She fell asleep at the wheel, causing her car to hit a tree. She was trapped in the vehicle for an hour before emergency workers freed her. She was unconscious when she arrived here, and I'm afraid that she still hasn't come to." He looked at all of them before continuing. "Now, at the present time, I'm not all that concerned that she's still out of it since she does have a pretty big knot on her head. She'll be taken to ICU and she will be watched closely for any sign that she's back with us." He looked again at his notes. "Along with the head injury that she sustained from hitting the driver's side window, she has a broken collar bone from the combination of the seat belt and the airbag. One leg was trapped under the dashboard, causing that knee to be wrenched, and she has a broken wrist, also from the airbag." He sighed as he gave the two teens a small smile. "Your mother is actually quite lucky that she was asleep at the time of impact. Her injuries could have been much worse had she braced herself for impact."
Dani sat silently crying as Jacob wrapped an arm around her and looked at the doctor. "When can we see her?"
"Once she's been made comfortable in her room, then, of course, you'll be able to see her."
Dani sniffed and looked up at the doctor. "What if she doesn't wake up?"
The doctor sighed and got down on one knee in front of the teenage girl so he could look her in the eye. "Now, I know from some of the nurses that your father sustained injuries in a car accident and he never recovered." The older man took her hand in his and smiled kindly. "I really think that your mother's case is just a severe concussion and I have no doubt that she will wake up when her body is ready. She's just catching up on some much-needed rest right now, okay?" When Dani nodded and returned his smile, he nodded and stood back up. "Alright, let me get back to Shiloh and someone will be out to let you know when we move her upstairs."
Luann nodded as he turned to go back the way he had come. Dani cleared her throat and looked at Gemma. "Is Bobby coming home?"
Gemma nodded and reached over to hug the girl close. "Yes, sweetheart, he is." She looked at Jacob and nodded. "Why don't you two go find something to eat in the cafeteria? We'll be right here when you get back, okay?"
Jacob nodded and the two stood up and walked toward the elevators. Luann shook her head. "Those poor babies. If Shi doesn't make it, I don't know what they'll do."
Gemma shook her head and slapped Luann on the arm. "Stop that shit! Of course, she's going to make it! And if for some stupid reason, she doesn't, those kids have all of us."
Luann nodded before bursting into tears. Gemma sighed and took her into her arms, holding her best friend close as she cried out all of her fear and worry. Finally, Luann sat up straight and nodded to Gemma.
"You're right, I'm sorry. It's just... Shiloh's been through so much in life so far. I just want so much to see her happy and enjoying the rest of it. She deserves it."
Gemma grinned and nodded. "She does, and we're going to make sure that she gets the life she deserves."
