She sighs as she hangs her uniform in her locker after changing to casual attire. She stood there, staring at her name tag for a minute, 'Kim Sohyun'. She was contemplating if it was really worth it losing her sleep and free time for the job.
But well, what would you do without money in this city of Seoul?
A sigh escaped her lips for the ninth time that day. She was beyond exhausted. Thank God that it was Sunday tomorrow, she could finally catch up with her pending chores, or maybe just sleeping the whole day.
She made her way out of the changing room and walk out of her workplace, eager to go home. Being the Executive Housekeeper's assistant on that well-known hotel oblige her to do everything for her boss, including those that aren't included in her job scope.
No funny business though. Just some private errands here and there, like taking care of her boss' kid or finishing her boss' jobs because she needs to go home early that day. Yeah, more like a boss' pet we should say.
Being too indulge in her works makes her sometimes forgot that her love life is dry, as dry as the Sahara Desert. Oh, how jealous she is at her colleague who had a boyfriend to showed off to at the reunion, or even husband.
Nah... Whatever.
Her eyes cast down at the sight of a newly-wed couple made out in front of their room, forgetting that they're still in the hallway.
Life really likes to rub it on her face that she is single as hell.
She fastens her steps to walk past them while thinking inside her head, that, that kind of luck just not destined to be hers. She might be going to die alone in her apartment with three cats and a dog, alone and cold and loveless.
That was sad.
She gets inside the elevator, still thinking about her pathetic life and not noticing how the man who stood behind her had his eyes below her waist level, but then quickly snapped towards the other direction with cheeks red from unknown reason.
He stammered, wanting to say something to her but was caught up when the elevator's door opened, giving a way for Sohyun to walk out. She had her head down, not even noticing every strange look that was thrown towards her until she left the building.
"Jaehyun!" A voice shouted, making the man's head snapped towards the direction only to see a familiar figure of his best friend running towards him.
Jaehyun contemplated for a second, looking between his best friend and the girl that just went out of the building. It wasn't long before he made his mind when he took a step backwards with guilt adorned his handsome face.
"I'm sorry, Jungkook-ah! But I've gotta go!" He then sprint full-speed, leaving Jungkook dumbfounded behind.
"You just got here, Jay! Hey! Where are you going?!"
