•a beginning•

School was finally out. After a long and tedious senior year, it was finally a three month time period for goofing off and relaxation.

Stanley beamed happily out of his class room, proudly tossing away his school supplies into the trash bin. A few teachers scoffed, Bill making his way beside his best friend, falling suit as he dumped his things too.

"R-Ready for our first ad-adventure?" Bill smiled brightly up at Stanley.

"Yes, although, I more of ready for our movie nights. We've been slacking in them too much because of school." Stanley said truthfully.

"Yeah, this time we can binge watch horror movies now." Bill chuckled.

Stan smiled a little bit for a moment. "Bill?" He questioned, making the boy look up. "Your stutter is getting better." He commented.

Bill smiled, blood flushing through his cheeks. "Th-thanks."

The two walked off, outside the school by the brick wall. They met up with Beverly, Ben, and Eddie.

"Wh-Where's R-Richie?" Bill asked, almost concerned.

Eddie spoke up. "He said he was ending things with a chick in his English class." The boy rambled out. "He wants to hang out with us more, before we split for college. Doesn't want the 'female power' holding him down?" Eddie shrugged out, quoting his best friend.

"I'm not going to college," Beverly sighed.

"What? Why?" Ben looked at her. "It's college."

She shrugged it off, not wanting to completely talking about it.

"But that's how you make a future for yourself." He said. She sighed, giving him a look. He nodded and back off the topic.

"So," Stanley started up. "Who's the English chick?" He quickly changed the subject.

"Some sorry girl," Eddie snickered.

They all laughed.

"What's so funny, dick wads?" Richie spoke as he walked up. He glanced to all of them, staring Eddie in the face with a look. "E-Eddie?" He said, staring with wide eyes.

"Wh-what?" Eddie felt confused, and concerned.

"There's something on your face! It looks horrible! I'd get medicine for that!" Richie expressed, holding back a laugh. "It looks infected."

Eddie started to panic, going through his fanny pack.

"Richie, stop!" Beverly laughed.

"Is there something on my face? What the hell's on my face? What is it?" Eddie was screaming and freaking out.

Richie let out a loud laugh, making Eddie glare at his best friend. Richie cooed like Eddie was a baby. "Awe, Eds I'm sorry, I guess it was just your face." He chuckled.

Eddie blushed. Richie's dumb little joke made the boy insecure. "Fuck you, Bro."

Richie laughed. "Calm down, Eds. It was just a joke. You're so beautiful, baby."

"Guys, stop!" Bill laughed at the two.

Richie missed Eddie's small smile and blush, as he looked down.

"You guys wanna grab some pizza? Maybe go to our place?" Stanley suggested.

"I've gotta run, actually, but I'll see you guys tomorrow!" Beverly quickly hopped on her bike and rode off before they could question her.

"What was that about? Is she too good enough now?" Richie joked.

Ben rolled his eyes, grabbing his bike along with the others. "She's got some stuff to deal with at home." Ben sighed out.

"Oh," Richie decided to stop talking about it, knowing he'd only cause an argument. "Hey Eds, can you come help me with something at my house?"

Eddie blushed. "You never invite me to your house. What's up, Rich?" He hummed.

Richie shrugged, hopping on his bike, walking on his feet, rolling around. He watched as everyone else, other than Eddie, rode off. "My mom's away, dad's off, and I need help moving things around. C'mon! I need those strong spaghetti Eddie noodle arms to help lift rocks!" Richie playfully flexed.

Eddie blushed. "Okay, Rich. I'll come help you." He mumbled. "But you're letting me spend the night. It isn't everyday I get to come over while your parents are away."

The boy pushed his glasses up on to his nose as the two of them set off on their bikes, wheeling themselves to Richie's house.
