Richie and I are on the couch, watching television. He hasn't left my side all day. We've been right here, not even a bathroom break. I'm worried for him. It's scary.
He rolled into me, his face into my neck. He placed light kisses on me. "I'm thirsty," he mumbled.
I felt relaxed in his touch. "Do you want any lemonade?" I asked.
He nodded, kissing over me more. "That sounds nice."
I shivered at his kisses, them leaving a cool sensation on me. I sat up, away from him and stood up. "Ice?" I asked.
He nodded. "Yes, please." He smiled.
I smiled to him and walked into the kitchen. I grabbed a glass from the cabinet. I put some ice cubes in the glass and poured Richie's lemonade.
I brought it to him, sitting down beside him. "I hope you like it," I said.
He smiled and sipped it. "It's sweet, like you, Eds," he kissed my cheek after sitting it down.
I giggled and snuggled into his side. "Would you like to go do anything today?" I asked. "The arcade maybe?"
He sighed. "I just want to be here with you." He wrapped his arm around my shoulder.
I nodded. "That sounds perfect."
He smiled lightly. "Thanks, Eddie."
I smiled. "Of course. Where ever you are, that's where I want to be."
He chuckled and hugged me. "Maybe we can go to our spot? The club house? Read some comics? Maybe have a lunch there?" He suggested.
I nodded. "Yeah, that sounds fun!" I looked up at him. "Maybe later we can go catch a movie?"
He sighed. "Are you sure you would want to go public? I don't want anyone hurting you," He looked at me.
I smiled. "We can go as a group, all of us," I offered.
He nodded. "Good idea, Eddie Spaghetti."
I chuckled at that nickname. I looked back at the tv. "You know...graduation will be in a week or so, any plans?" I asked.
He was quiet, taking a moment to think. "Well, we can all get matching tattoos." He shrugged.
I laughed. "Um, no thanks," I said. "Maybe like diner? A trip maybe?" I suggested.
He nodded. "Yeah, that sounds fun! I think they'd all be down for that!"
I smiled, feeling proud for a good idea. "Let's shower and get ready," i said. "We really need to shower. We haven't in three days," I fake gaged. "Bleh," I stuck my tongue out.
He chuckled. "Would you like to go first?" He asked. He looked over me, running his gentle pale hands over my shoulders, in my hair too. "Or...maybe together," he winked.
I felt flustered. "Richie!" I gasped. I stood up rather quickly.
Pause; I don't even know how much he likes me, I'm not about to do something crazy and possibly ruin our friendship. He's one of the most important people to me.
I let out an awkward laugh. "I'll let you shower first! I'll get clothes out and let the others know." I said. I looked away and walked up stairs.
I don't get why I became so flustered. We joke around all the time, but maybe it's different since we're...'dating'.
I felt my body tingle at richie's words. Together. I went into my room and tried to ignore the new way he made me feel inside. It wasn't the everyday Tozier butterflies, but...different. It almost felt like the way you'd fall...fall in love.
I shook off the feelings and went to pull out clothes. Since it's a 'date', I pulled out a pair of overalls and a pink sweater with light white stripes. This will look cute. I smiled to myself. This looks cute, yeah.
I waited as I heard Richie in the bathroom down the hall. I walked out, hearing the water run as I walked down stairs. I grabbed the phone and quickly called Bill.
"Hello!" He yelled, sounding like he was laughing at something on the other side.
"Hey, Bill! It's Eddie! Rich and I were wondering if we all went to see a movie tonight! As a group! Like a date night for all of us!" I rambled.
"That s-sounds great!" He said. "But Bev and B-Ben aren't dating," he said.
"They might as well be," I shrugged.
He chuckled. "That's true."
"Do they know about Stan and you? Are they cool with that?" I asked curiously.
"Yeah! We talked about it at the quarry." He said.
I nodded. "Cool." I said softly. I was quiet for a moment, debating on asking Bill for advice, but I'm a subtle manner. "Bill?" I mumbled.
"Yeah?" I hummed back, seeming nice about the sudden change of tone.
I sighed momentarily. "Look, I know this is weird to ask you, and kind of nosy, and God knows I am in no place to ask you this, boy do I know it, but I want to ask you something a little personal," I said out.
"Y-yeah? Okay?" He said unsure.
I looked up the stairs, still hearing the running water. "Have Stan and you, I don't know, fooled around?" I asked.
"What do you mean? L-like sex?" He asked.
I blushed. "Well, not exactly, but sure, I guess." I said awkwardly.
He sighed heavily, being quiet. "Well, no, but we make out a lot, and stuff," he mumbled secretively into the phone.
"Stuff? Like what?"
"Why are you asking me this?" He rushed out.
"Bill, please, I'm just-," I stopped myself.
"Is this about Richie? Did he do something?" He asked worriedly.
"No, Richie isn't like that. He's a goon. It's just about something he said." I mumbled.
"What did he say?" He asked confused like.
"He implied us taking a shower together, but I couldn't tell if we were joking and shit. I feel awkward about it, but flattered. Like, it's way too early to do something like that with him, but god how I've wanted to for so long. I don't know, maybe he was joking, or making a move. Either way, I'm the one who made it awkward." I rambled out.
"O-oh," He said. "M-maybe he's just being Richie? You know how that dork is." He chuckled.
I chuckled. "You're right. Thanks, Billiam!" I said.
"N-no problem! I'll let the others know of our plans!" He said. "Should we ask mike?"
I sighed. "It'd be best if he didn't tonight, give him time to cool off, give us time to try and talk things out? I know how upset he made Stan and Richie. Guy was a massive dick head."
"Agreed. I'll see ya then, Eddie!" He sang.
"Bye!" I hung up the phone, hearing Richie upstairs, walking out.
"Eddie Spaghetti, you got a shirt I can borrow?" He yelled.
I chuckled at him.
