Yeah, I'm in love. I don't know how to take in the fact that Richie's into me, but how much is he into me? I feel like my head is going to explode.

Richie cheekily opened the door for me as we walked on to Bill's porch. I smiled up at him.

We never did say if we were going to tell the others about us. Oh well, I'll just keep my mouth shut and follow his lead about it. I won't be the one to ruin anything, mainly because I'm the one who knows how to keep their mouth shut.

We walked in, Richie shutting the door behind us. We turned to see all of our friends yelling at Ben, him sitting in front of a pale of hot wings, him crying and eating them slowly.

"What the fuck?" I laughed a little.

"Come on! You have to do this!" Bill argued over Ben's shoulder.

"They're trying to get him to train for a contest at the pizzeria. Who ever can eat most hot wings in a certain amount of time gets free pizza for the rest of summer." Stanley explained to us. He was sitting on the couch in what seemed to be Bill's clothes as he read a book.

My eye brows felt permanently raised as I watched them egg Ben on. He choked a little. "I can't! It's so hot!" He cried.

I bit my tongue.

"Should we do something?" I asked hushed like to Richie.

He shrugged. "S'kinda funny," he said.

I scoffed at him with a light chuckle. "He looks miserable, Rich."

"I'm afraid it's too far gone for us to help any, Eddie." He sighed, crossing his arms.

I chuckled. "Um, are we gonna tell them about us? Or?" I asked curiously.

He shrugged. "Let's just not say anything and let them wonder." He chuckled smugly.

"So, we can act normal?" I asked.

"Yuh," he kissed my cheek. I smiled up at him. "I'd prefer to let them wonder anyway, fuck with them a little." He shrugged.

I laughed. "Okay, Richard." I shook my head at him, looking back to watch Ben cry a little more.

"So hot," He mumbled.

Richie took a small moment to laugh. "Here, move aside, Benny boy!" Richie announced. "I'm the master at this." He walked over and helped Ben up.

Beverly chuckled fondly as she helped Ben to the kitchen to help clean him up.

Richie started to scarf down the hot wings, surprisingly fast. I felt a little surprised that I didn't know he could do this.

"Yes! Finally! Some damn wing talent." Bill shouted happily. He turned and smiled happily to Stanley, who smiled and gave a proud thumbs up and a nod. He giggled and turned back to watch Richie.

"Just, I mean, at least don't go too fast, I don't need you dying on us." I said, sitting on the recliner, watching him at the coffee table.

Ben and Beverly walked back in, the red faced boy wearing a new and clean shirt. "Woah, he's fast," he said.

I chuckled a little, looking back at Richie who's gone through nearly all of the wings left in the bucket.

"When is this stupid contest?" I asked.

"In a few days, happy we won't have to train, saves me money and time!" Bill joked.

"Pft," Ben waved him off and sat on the chair. "Stereotyping chubby kids, wow, Bill. Even that's low for you." He said.
