Chapter 6

Post the hi-tea everyone chatted for a while, Mansi was already in awe of Reva. She was her next bestie for sure. Indu enjoyed Reva’s company. Indu found her suitable for Suhaan as she dint know the whole story of his break up which Granny narrated privately. She apologized for her excitement but anyways it over. Indu than suggested Granny find more about Reva she seemed a sorted and lively person. Granny wished the same what was important for her was Suhaan’s happiness wherever or to who ever it belonged.

Granny has seen them being attracted so she was just hoping for the best. Somtime two broken hearts come together and it becomes one. “Sounds filmy ishstyle, but its true….do dil mil rahe hai magar chupe chupke.” Could be granny’s thoughts?!!

Finally the trio bade a good bye Kishore and family. Granny was tired and she needed some rest. Suhaan informed Granny that they were going for a drive to the lake side. Granny nodded keeping her expressions of happiness in check. She dint expect this so soon but it was working Love was doing some magical spell. Granny was the most elated one with this development.

Reva changed to pair of jeans and white tunic, she avoided make up, but still she was glowing light red. Suhaan was waiting for her in his car. She took a look at her “sedan” which she hated the most and remimded of those dirty memories. Suhaan noticed how the smile was replaced by the grim expression. She took her sit and Suhaan looked at her for a second. She gave him a faint smile, “I am fine.” He nodded in agreement.

They were driving towards the lake. Reva was apperantly silent. Suhaan broke the silence, “Where were you exactly going yesterday, Reva?”

She thought for brief second, “Ohh!! post my wedding jogging scene.I was going to Karjat at my friend’s farm house. That was my secret hiding place but I guess destiny took its own course and I met you,” she stated with a wide grin and spunk in her eyes.

“So you like my company Reva,” he teased her.

“I dint say that,”she said timidly.

“You dint even deny,” he affirmed.

They were near the lake side; the air was fresh and gushes of cool breeze blowing. The gras was green dense and soft perfect to sit down. The sweet aroma of flowers was flowing around. The sky of early evening was like a canvas with color pallette of pink, orange and red, soon this would turn to dark deep blue. Suhaan looked at her breathing every bit of nature. The calm and beautiful lake had a rhythm which reflcted the same in Reva’s heart at the moment. Suhaan felt like she was like a wave in his life that changes which created somersaults and changed a lot of things in him. She walked towards the water much closer her footprints on the ground were like fossils ingrained in his mind. He walked behind her and both of them sat there for a while, silently staring and admiring in every manner to cherish and remember it like a picture which can never change. He turned towards her looking intently “You should go home Reva in a day or two. If you wish to I could drop you back.”

She was listening to him curiously. “So you want me go away Suhaan. It’s not a home for me anymore. I feel lonely there, in fact the love and affection that Granny imparted and I wish mom could have given me an ounce of it. I want a home, a family, a loving man, my one woman man for sure and my babies. I want to live a simple happily married life,” she declared blatantly. They had shared what they were expecting in their partners and they knew at the back of their minds that something was unusually drawing them towards each other.

She turned her gaze away from him dreading if he flips through her mind and learns her raw emotions for him. She was uncertain of his feelings for her. She dint know how this would shape up, whether they hold a future togther? She brushed all those thoughts for while just cherishing the moments at present. She dint want to think much nor expected Suhaan to over stress himself. They were just flowing in the waves of their feeling and none wanted hit to shore so quick, they wanted to feel and experience these emotions which were amiss till date in their lives.
