The cliche continues.

A week had past and having Tyler go to the same rink as me really was a dream come true. Sometimes he would stay there extra early just so he can drop me off there, but that means I have to wait for an hour for a lift back. But it is with Tyler so I am not complaining.

School was going by fast and before I knew it, it was Project term. Let me explain, Project term was a half of a term where we would do a set project from our specific talent. For example, I would do it on figure skating, usually just create a routine that goes to a recent song or something crap like that.

We were settling down in our PE class to be split into the groups of talents and told our assignments.

"Ice skaters split yourself into Hockey and Figure" it was a clear split with 2 boys and the rest girls on figure and 1 girl and the rest boys on hockey (sterotypical yeah I know but that is how it works. "So we are doing it differently this time, I am going to put you into partners and I will then inform you of your project," Coach Foster told us, "and absolutely no switching partners."

Unfortunately due to my life being a walking disaster we all knew who I was put with. My constant wishing to be put with Tyler had proven ineffective the moment Coach uttered "Elizabeth and Jace."

Oh Lord, why do you hate me so.

"Awh Lizzie you're just bursting to work with me aren't you!" Jace saud mockingly before winking in my direction. I gave him the middle finger which just caused him to chuckle.

"Now there is a reason I put you two together" coach said when he came over to our corner where it was him on his phone and me.. Well.. Sulking. "you are both brilliant skaters and I know you are going to ace this project term," he said

"Well what is our project?" I asked unenthusiastically. I mean. Could you blame me. I had to work with, urgh, Jace.

"You will be trying each others sports out,"

"What?!" We both looked at each other, my nose crinkled automatically. Not ice hockey please.

"Well Elizabeth you will teach Jace a figure skating routine that you will both perform together" he explained "and Jace you will be teaching Elizabeth the basics of hockey which you will then have two v two matches against the other groups"

"No way am I figure skating I am not fruity" Jace said crossing his arms across his chest.

"Fine then you can forget about getting into the national team for Ice Hockey because this grade will go straight to them" Jace immediately sunk into his seat arms across his chest like a sulky 3 year old.

"Fine well I will start devising a skating routine that will match your basic ability" I stood up brushing myself off, I was actually quite proud of that par. Go Elizabeth!

You're a massive loser.

I know.

"So what you doing for your PT?" Jess asked.

"Don't get me started I have to work with an ape,"

"Yeah and I need to teach you how to play ice hockey so after practice we will be starting with the complete basics" Jace came out of no where and had made my plans for this evening

"What and wait an extra hour just so you can taunt me more, no thanks Jace."

"Hey I am not going to taunt you" he said, his hands help up in innocence "I want to get a good grade on this too, getting into the National team would mean the world to me. And I am sure that you want a chance to get into figure skating at olympic level." For the first time in this life he had a point.
