Chaeyoung POV
I woke up happily since it was my birthday, when I was about to wake up jungkook behidn me, he was not there.

I got up confused and went downstairs with my hair all messed up.

"Kookie!" I screamed but there was no response so I just shrugged it out and went back upstairs to get washed.

Jungkook POV
I woke up really early and looked at Chae before kissing her forehead.

"I hope you don't cry too much," I sighed before washing up and drove to my location.

When i got to my location I went outside and there she was waiting for me at the gates. The gates opened and she ran into my arms.

"I missed you, sweetheart," I said softly.

Chaeyoung POV
It's been 2 hours and Jungkook is still not home.

I was making my way towards the living room with my blanket but then I heard the doorbell ring.

Before I could walk to it, the door opened and who I saw came in made me drop my blanket on the floor.

"Eomma!" seoyeon screamed and ran to me.

I dropped on my knees as I was bawling.

Seoyeon wrapped her arms around me and we both cried together.

"I'm so sorry I l-left you there s-sweetie," I sobbed.

She pulled away and cupped my face with her tiny hands.

"It's okay Eomma, you did what was best for me and now I'm back," she smiled. I smiled back and wiped her tears before carrying her and we all sat down on the couch with Jungkook beside me and seoyeon on my lap.

"I finally get to live with you now, Eomma," seoyeon suddenly said making me look at her confusingly.

"What?" I said

"Well...remember when I made you sign a contract that you couldn't even read since we were in a rush? It was actually a contract to adopt seoyeon," Jungkook explained while wrapping his arm around my waist and pulled me closer.

"This is your birthday present," he continued.

Tears started rolling down my cheeks again and I hugged Jungkook from the side and pecked his cheek before laying my head on his shoulder.

"I love you soo much, babe," I smiled.

He smiled and pecked the crown of my head.

"I love you too," he replied.

"Now, let's go out and celebrate Eomma's birthday shall we?" he continued.

"Yea! Let's go!" seoyeon said and got off my lap before jumping up and down.

Me and Jungkook chuckled before we went upstairs to get ready.

When we were done, we all went out and drive to a restaurant.

After we ate, jungkook closed my eyes and seoyeon led me somewhere outside the restaurant.

"Ready?" Jungkook asked.

"Yea"

"1," seoyeon counted.

"2"

"3"

Jungkook took his hands off and I saw a gazebo decorated with balloons and fairy lights with a 2 chairs together face-off a single chair.

On sat on the single while Jungkook and seoyeon sat on the two chairs facing me.
