Jungkook POV

"Halmeoni!" chaeyoung screamed as she ran into her grandmother's arms.

She pulled away and had a huge smile on her face.

"Who's this?" her grandma asked her as I approached Chae and wrapped my arms around her waist while smiling at her grandma.

"He's my boyfriend, halmeoni," Chae said with a proud smile on her face before pecking my cheeks.

I smiled at her grandma and bowed lightly to her.

Chae's grandma led us to her van and drove us to her house.

As me and Chae were unpacking, her grandma had called Chae to talk to her privately.

Chaeyoung POV
Grandma took my hands in hers and caressed it.

She looked me in the eyes and spoke.

"Chae, you have chosen the perfect one and I am really proud of you. He seems like a man you could trust, I'm so grateful that you have someone to take care of you since your parents...you know," she said and I just nodded.

"I'm glad you like him, halmeoni, he was always by my side even if I troubled him a lot," I explained to her with a smile plastered on my face.

She smiled back and hugged me before letting me come back to the room.

As I entered the room, I saw Jungkook sleeping on the bed peacefully. My smile widened and I sat next to him on the bed then caressed his hair.

"I'm glad I have you by my side, I hope you know that I love you so much that even the word 'love' won't be enough," I whispered as I layed next to him while staring at his face.

"Me too," he suddenly said and opened his eyes, causing me to be flustered and jump a little.

He chuckled before planting a kiss on my lips and tucking me in.

Jungkook wrapped his arms around my waist and placed his chin on my head.

"You should get some rest since you couldn't get much sleep in the plane," he whispered and i nodded slightly as I snuggled in his chest then fell asleep.

Jungkook POV
My nap was awoken by someone calling my name quietly. I sat up and saw chae's grandma telling me to talk to her.

I carefully escaped chae's embrace and walked out of the room and stood in front of her grandma.

"I'm so happy that you're my lovely grand daughter's boyfriend. Since you guys would be bored staying here for a long time, trapped in this house, I booked two flight tickets to Hawaii for you guys to rest there and stay away from all your problems," she said happily.

I thanked her excitedly. She gave me the boarding passes and I read it.

"IT'S IN 3 HOURS?!" i exclaimed.

She nodded with a smile. Suddenly, Chaeyoung walked out of the room with her hair all messes up and her eyes barely open.

"What's in three hours?" she asked with a raspy voice.

"We're going to Hawaii in 3 hours, babe!" I said and her eyes immediately opened widely and pulled me into the room, telling me to pack rapidly.

I chuckled and followed her

We are now boarding our plane before bidding chae's grandma goodbye.

While we were taking off, I, as always, was holding chae's hand since she was scared of turbulence.

I woke up to the really bad turbulence and noticed that Chae was already awake while hugging my arm really tight since she was scared.

I looked at her and we made eye contact. She looked terrified.

"It's okay, jagiya, it's gonna stop any moment," I chuckled while tucking a piece of hair behind her ear.

But what the pilot said next made me take back what I said.

"Dear passengers, apparently the engine has broke so I insist everyone on going to brace position," he spoke calmly but with a stern feel.

Chae was tearing up.

We both went in brace position and I locked my hands with hers and looked at her.

"What ever happens to us Chae, just know that you were the best person I ever met, I will be by your side and I will always love you 3000," I whispered

She started crying harder after I said that and that's when everything went black.
