Chaeyoung POV
I woke up in Jungkook's warm embrace. I looked up and saw him sleeping soundly with his mouth slightly open.

I slowly caressed his cheek and smiled.

"How am I so lucky to have you? I wish I was just as perfect as you..." I whispered.

Suddenly his eyes opened slowly and tightened his embrace around me.

"You are though," he smiled and tucked a piece of hair behind my ear that was covering my face.

I smiled back and snuggled closer to him before staring at his facial features.

He looked back at me and cupped my cheek with his warm, big hands.

"I love you," he said softly and pecked my forehead.

"I love you too," I whispered loud enough for him to hear.

I buried my face in his chest and he kissed my head before we heard the door slowly open revealing seoyeon coming in our room wearing her nightgown and holding a bunny plushie.

"Good morning," she said with a raspy voice and walked towards our bed and went in between us.

Me and Jungkook smiled before he pulled seoyeon in his embrace instead but had his arm still on me.

"Did you sleep well?" he asked.

"Mhm! I dreamed of me being in a bunny land," she explained happily.

"Wow!" jungkook exclaimed and caressed her hair.

"Yeonie-ah...go take a shower and brush your hair, when you're done I'll cook breakfast for you, okay?" I said and she nodded and ran to her room with her toy plushie.

I looked back at jungkook and noticed how skinny he looked. His eye bags were nearly noticed. I started to tear up at how much he has been through all this time.

In the middle of my thoughts, jungkook suddenly wiped my tears and caressed my cheek.

"Im fine, don't worry," he whispered and i was shocked at how he knew what i was thinking.

I cried harder and he pulled me into his embrace while rubbing my back to calm me down.

After a few minutes of crying, i calmed down and he pulled away slowly.

"Now your eyes are puffy," he wined and pouted. I smiled and kissed him gently before pulling away.

"It's fine, I need to go cook breakfast now," I said.

I then pecked his forehead before grabbing my clothes and took a shower.

When I was all freshened up, I went downstairs and straight too the kitchen to cook.

As I was trying to reach a pan that was on the highest shelf, the pan fell and hit my head really hard causing me to scream loudly and fall on the ground.

"Ahh!" I hissed loudly.

Jungkook POV
I heard Chae scream from the kitchen so I immediately rushed down stairs to see what happened.

When I got there, I saw her sitting on the floor while holding her head. As I was looking at her, a plate was about to fall on her from a shelf so I ran to it and caught it right before it touched her.

She looked up and I noticed her eyes were moist and filled with tears. She looked so fragile and my heart shattered as I saw her sniffing cutely.

"What happened, baby?" I said as I put the plate down and crouched to her level then hugged her tight while caressing the part of her head that she was holding.
