Jungkook POV
...i saw blood on my palm...

I was gonna keep it a secret to rosie but I suddenly heard a gasp.

I looked to it and saw her covering her mouth in shock. She immediately brought me to the bathroom and washed the blood on my lips and palm.

After that, we both sat on the bed.

"Lay down kookie," Chae said softly and I layed down.

She caressed my brown locks as she sat next to me and stared at me worriedly.

"I'm gonna be okay, baby," I smiled weakly and held her hand tightly in my warm ones.

She started crying and I sat up before wiping her tears and kissed her.

She continued crying so I pulled away softly and wiped her tears with my sleeve.

She stopped crying and was sniffing cutely.

We both layed down and I wrapped my arms around her waist before she snuggled her face in my chest.

"Let's go to the doctor tomorrow," she mumbled.

"Arasseo, baby," I smiled and pecked her head before caressing her arm to make her sleep.

The next morning

Chaeyoung POV
I woke up and straight away washed up and changed my clothes.

I was waking up jungkook when I realised that he looked really pale and his lips were dry and cracked.

"Kookie..." I woke him up and he opened his eyes slowly before sitting but I stopped him.

"Andwae, don't sit up, let me check your temperature," I said softly and pushed him back down to lay down.

I placed my palm on his forehead.

"Yah...you're burning," I pouted but he just smiled weakly.

"It's hot in here, " he fanned himself and started breathing heavily. I noticed that he was sweating a lot.

I went downstairs to get him some water but when I came back he was not on the bed.

I heard coughing in the toilet so I put the cup on the nightstand before running to the bathroom.

When I opened the door, I saw Jungkook coughing blood in the toilet bowl.

"omo..." I gasped and ran up to him before patting his back.

After a few minutes, he stopped and was panting really loudly.

I helped him wash his mouth and lips at the sink.

"I-im sorry," he said and was looking down, sobbing, while his two arms holding onto the sink to support him.

"Baby...it's not your fault," I cupped his pale face and pecked his nose.

"Let's get you some rest," I said and supported him to the bed.

I gave him some water and tucked him in.

"Take off your shirt since it's hot for you," I said and helped him take off his shirt.

Before making sure everything is okay, I took a bowl and a napkin before filling up the bowl with water.

I went back to jungkook and wiped his forehead and torso with the wet napkin.

"I'm sorry for burdening you," he said looked as if he was about to cry.

"Don't be sorry," I softly said before caressing his face.

I caressed his hair while watching him slowly sleep while hugging my waist as I sat at the edge of the bed.

I slowly cried and placed my head on his chest.

Jungkook POV
It hurts hearing Chae crying, although I'm the one who's sick, she doesn't have to feel guilty cause it's me who's not strong enough.

I opened my eyes and caressed her hair, she looked at me.

"Get some rest, I'll make lunch for us and then we can go to the hospital," she softly said while caressing my hair then placed a long kiss on my forehead before going downstairs to the kitchen.

I sighed and took a nap.

25mins later

I woke up to someone shaking me. Slowly, I opened my eyes and saw Chae in an apron while waking me up.

"Come eat lunch, baby," she smiled and helped me up before putting a shirt on me.

I was escorted downstairs by Chae and we both ate.

After eating, the maids washed and cleaned the dining area while Chae hurriedly changed her clothes.

Eomma came to watch over seoyeon as me and Chae went to the hospital.

Chaeyoung POV
The doctor checked him and gave him some medicine for him to eat after each meal. (I don't know the cure so let's just go with it)

He also gave us a cream for the bruise on his neck.

After that, we drive back home and I immediately put the cream on Jungkook's bruise.

When we were done, seoyeon opened the door carefully and peaked her head in the room.

"Is appa okay?" she asked and walked into the room.

Jungkook smiled and let seoyeon sit in his lap facing him.

"I'm okay," he put on a fake smile before she hugged him tightly.

I made eye contact with Jungkook and pouted because he had to hide his pain for her happiness.

Jungkook POV
I am noticed Chaeng pouting so I caressed her cheek while still holding onto seoyeon.

Chae just leaned into my touch and smiled softly to me.

"Seoyeon-ah! Halmeoni is leaving!" we heard eomma shooting from downstairs.

"Gaja! Let's go say goodbye to halmeoni!" I carried seoyeon like a superman downstairs.

She kept laughing and we both went downstairs.

Chaeyoung POV
I smiled watching them being really happy as they went downstairs.

I looked down and prayed to god that nothing bad ever happens again and that I could be a better mum and wife.

I then felt someone hug me from behind and kiss my neck.

"Jagiya, Eomma wants to see you before she leaves," Jungkook said softly.

I turned around and smiled before nodding my head.

We both went downstairs and Mrs. Jeon walked up to me then hugged me tight.

"Everything will be alright sweetie, you're doing great as a wife and a mum," she said and pulled away a but before caressing my hair.

"How'd you know I wa-" my eyes widened.

"I have my ways," she smiled warmly.

I stared to sob softly so she hugged me back again and caressed my hair.

"I feel like I'm doing an awful job, Jungkook is hurt and we barely see seoyeon since there's soo much going on and I don't want to ruin her childhood because of these kidnapping and injury situations," I mumbled in her shoulder.

"Why don't you guys take a break from all of this and travel to Bora Bora or something?" Mrs. Jeon suggested.

"But the last time me and Jungkook f-"

"I'm positive that it won't happen again sweetie," she smiled.

I thought about it for a while before finally agreeing.

I bid eomma goodbye and she left leaving me thinking bout it as I stood there in the living room all alone.

It was awfully quiet in the house so I went to seoyeon's room and saw Jungkook and her sleeping together in each other's embrace on her bed.

I smiled before slowly closing the door.
