Chapter 9: 'I will ruin him.'

Blake's POV:

"Thank you Dr, but can you give us a moment alone?" She said.

Uh?

The doctor gave her a polite smile and stalked out of the room.

"HOW DARE YOU!?" She screamed furiously.

"Uh?" I gave her a confused look.

"What are you so confused about? How dare you? How dare you give your blood for me? Did I give you permission? For what I know your blood could have a freaking disease," She said the last part with so much hatred that I felt like my heart crumple to pieces.

A cringy line, I know, but that's what I truly felt. She snatched her hand away from me and tried to stand up but I stopped her.

"No, I'm going," and walked out of the room giving her a last glance.

I walked towards my car and sat in the drivers seat. I was so fucking angry. Why did I even take her to the hospital. I put my life to risk to save her, I gave her my blood. Fricking shared my blood with her.

If that's a thing.

After sitting there for a few more minutes, I finally put the key in the ignition and the engine roared to life. I'll just get a coffee from Starbucks and get to the hotel.

Oh fricking god of fudgeenuts, now I remember that she in the same hotel as me.

Liana's POV:

"What is it that you can't seem to take your mind off from?" Savana asked me.

We were currently sitting in her room and I had bought some snacks coming back from my office.

She was safe and sound. She just crashed her car in a tree and didn't get any serious injury except for a few scrapes and scratches.

"Nothing serious," I replied to her previous question.

"Do you really think you can lie to me? I've known you since what? Forever?"

"Blake, it's about blake,"

"What!? What about him? Did you guys k-"

"SHUT UP RIGHT THERE ANA," I almost shouted.

She raised her hands in surrender.

"Okay okay, tell me the whole story A to Z,"

I chuckled and told her everything 'A to Z'.

"Please tell me you did not say that to him," She said making a disgusted face.

I gave her a guilty look, "I did,"

"Oh. My. Goodness, why would you do that leils?"

"Because I didn't want him to suffer because of me. I didn't want him to be weak because of me. I wanted him to stay away from me because I will ruin him, I'm bad luck, I'll ruin everybody-" I made a guilty face yet again as she interrupted me.

"Shut up, okay? You will not ruin him if you give me the answer for this one question that I ask you,"

"What?"

"Do you like-like Blake?"

Silence.

"Noooooo. Pshtt no,are you dumb? I dont like him. I mean he's not even thatt handsome right? Plus noo I cant like him what even made you think that?" I replied a little too fast, without meeting her eyes.

She gave me a very suspicious look.

Very suspicious and disturbing.

We sat back and started watching the movie we were previously watching.

No tears shed. No hugs shared.

Basically, this is a very stupid unspoken rule between us that we only hug when we get emotional.

Stupid, I know.

Suddenly, Savana started squealing.

"What?" I asked dumb founded.

She shoved my phone in my face and I just stared at it with my jaw open.

"WHY WOULD YOU DO THAT ANA?!" I repeated the question she had asked me before.

"Because I love you and want the best for you,"

"Ughhh," I groaned.

Apparently, by messaging Blake that I wanted to meet him first thing on monday and apologize, she thought she was doing good for me.

It would be so awkward.

And he had replied 'okay.'

Like-okay? Who replies 'okay'? Couldn't he write some more?

Monday was going to be a hell of a day.

"I will kill you Ana,"

"Take a chill pill Lee."
