Wanda x Nebula

Soulmates#4

Nebula was on the battle field once again looking for Thanos. She wanted to kill him, make him pay, make him feel hurt down to his very core. She saw him and began to run towards him. Reaching him she stopped. 

He looked up and saw her

"Thanos." was all she said. 

Just as she was about to attack heard something that made her stop in her tracks. 

"He's Mine." was the only thing spoken. It made her soul mark flare to life and her freeze. 

She looked as the girl approached. Dressed in red. Hands flaring to life with balls of red energy and all she could do was stare. 

"You took everything from me." The girl said directly to Thanos as Nebula heart pinched at her words. "I don;t even know you." Thanos said. 

"You will" was the last thing said before she lifted herself in the air along with two giant balls of earth. She slammed them directly at him. Then landed on the ground and blasted all of her energy at him pushing him backward. 

Nebula just stared.

But a couple of moves later Thanos was pushing his sword down on her. Nebula moved to intervene when she saw a smirk appear on the witches face and suddenly she twisted throwing and breaking Thanos's. Then before anyone knew what was happening she had him lifted in the air tearing him piece by piece killing him slowly just how Nebula had wanted to die. 

Nebula was speechless

Before she knew it their were bolts raining from the sky unfreezing her and she ducked down to avoid the blasts. When the stopped she looked around for the powerful witch but she was gone. 

She searched and searched knocking attackers out of her way hoping to see the girl again. 

She saw red sparks and found her flying towards Carol and took off that way. She saw all the women assembling there and knew she could keep and eye on her girl. 

She had to make sure she lived.

Nebula knew she could take care of herself as proven against Thanos but it didn't hurt to keep and extra careful eye on her soulmate. 

Soon they were charging forward and the witch was in the sky again moving the giant creatures out of the way letting Carol get through. 

And then she was gone. 

Nebula didn't see her, she searched and searched but she found no trace of her. 

Before she knew it the battle was over everyone was safe and Tony was dead. She looked around the battlefield where she found her witch being embraced by a man with a metal arm and a man in a bird suit. But before she could go over and say something to her she looked the other direction and ran right into Clint's arms. 

And Nebula knew exactly who she was now. 

Just by the way she and Clint embraced

Clint had spoken about hr when they were coming up with a plan. He had been devastated when she vanished and taken her loss poorly. From the way Clint spoke about her she was like his daughter. 

Clint had spoke all about her when they were alone once. 

Lost her family

Country war ridden

Her Brother

Oh how he spoke of her and her brother's relationship. How they loved each other, how they stuck together, how her brother had sacrificed himself for Clint. 

Nebula's heart went out to her

Nebula then walked over to her soulmate and said the only thing she could think of, "Hi" 

Wanda froze, Grasped her wrist and looked straight into Nebula's eyes. Then before Nebula even knew what had happened  Wanda launched herself at her and pulled her in for a tight hug which Nebula returned. 

Pulling back Nebula saw blood running down Wanda's face. She was concerned. 

"Are you alright baby?" she asked. Wanda's eyes softened and she pulled Nebula in for a kiss. The broke apart and Wanda smiled at her. 

Soon afterward they left the battlefield, Wanda went with the other Avengers, Nebula went with Rocket and the others. 

They saw each other again at the funeral. 

Wanda stood with the two men she had seen her with before who she had come to know as Bucky and Sam. 

After the funeral the two saw each other and talked. Nebula wanted her to come with them on their ship while Wanda said she couldn't. She needed to stay with Sam and Bucky and help down here. That's one of the things Nebula loved about her she always wanted to help others and Nebula couldn't stop her from doing that. 

They made it work though. 

Nebula came for visits every week and the called each other every night. 

They soon got married and continued to love each other for the rest of their lives. 

They were soulmates after all
