Courtney's POV:

"What do you mean?" Kun said, raising an eyebrow at me. "Kun..I'm the girl he talked about all that time. I'm the one he fell in love with..I love him too. That's why I'm here actually." I admitted. "Wait..that's you?!" He said before I shushed him. "So is that why you're here, to take Sicheng back?" He said quietly. "I don't even know why I'm here to be honest..I do still have feelings for him though even though he was an asshole to me for leaving so suddenly." I admitted. "You know what, I'm going to help you find a way to be with him." He said.

I looked at him, surprised as I raised an eyebrow. "Why would you help me? We just met." I said. "Sicheng is my best friend and I can see how much he likes you by the way he talks about you. I want him to be happy..not to be with some girl he doesn't love." He said angrily. "So he really doesn't like her?" I asked. "Hell no, she is a bitch." He said, making me hold in a laugh. I smiled to myself as I thought, maybe I could have Sicheng all to myself. "Alright Kun, so what's the plan?" I said.

He smiled and began thinking about it as I noticed Sicheng still glancing at us. As soon as Li Yin looked away, Sicheng winked at me quickly, being a flirt. I blushed and turned away, pretending I didn't enjoy it. "You have to get to know his family, let them know you, if you're as sweet as Sicheng told me you are, they'll love you for sure. That is step one." He said. "Got it. Thanks Kun." I said, kissing him on the cheek quickly as I got up, making Sicheng jealous. I blew a kiss at Sicheng before walking off to go talk to his parents.

I found them talking to the florist about the wedding flowers and I waited to approach them. As soon as they were free, I walked over to them. "Well hello, Courtney is it?" His dad said. I nodded and smiled at the two of them. "So you seemed to know our son Sicheng." His mom said. "Yes, we're...um..friends. We met a while ago and we talk sometimes. He told me about needing a caterer for the wedding so I volunteered." I lied through my teeth but they smiled anyways, not knowing the real truth. I doubt they would like me too much if they knew I slept with their son especially if they knew it was the first night I met him.

I kept my mouth shut and talked to them for a while and kept smiling at the stuff I said so I seemingly got in good with them. From the way they talked about Sicheng's bride to be, they didn't seem to like her too much but and it seemed strictly for a business move like Sicheng said. I couldn't blame them for not liking her though, she was a bitch. I continued talking to his parents for a while and over the next hours and part one of Kun's plan was now in place. I informed him about everything so we could decide what to do next. "Alright, now I think you should..."

Over the next few days, I got to know his parents more and Kun while also annoying the fuck out of Sicheng's bride to be. Sicheng also secretly kissed me often which he was doing at this very moment. The two of us began making out in one of the spare rooms, trying to rip each other's clothes off in the process. I pushed him down onto the couch and crawled on top of him, kissing him deeper. Soon a knock sounded throughout the room as well as Li Yin's annoying voice.

"Sicheng, are you in there?" I heard her say. I jumped off of him and panicked as he rushed me into one of the closets. "Yes honey." He said, making me cringe so hard I wanted to puke. I watched through the little gap in the door as she walked in and kissed him on the lips, making me feel an anger inside me. He kissed back, his eyes open as he gave off a look of annoyance. He smiled a fake smile at her that I saw through as she leaned away from him. "Come on, it's time to do the wedding rehearsal." She said, pulling him out of the room. I slowly got out of the closet and followed them out of the room, fixing myself and pretending as if I walked from somewhere else.

"Hi Sicheng." I said as I noticed them talking together. They turned to look at me, Li Yin giving me an evil look as I walked up to Sicheng. Sicheng smiled at me as I began to flirt with him in front of her. I rubbed his arm gently as he started to flirt with me back, making the girl super angry. I smiled at him even as she pulled him away, going off to rehearsals. I wanted everyone to know he was mine but I just didn't know when to take him away but I was slowly running out of time and I didn't know if that was what he truly wanted because of the business deal with Li Yin's dad and how that would affect their family.

I met up with Kun to discuss the next steps which had to go fast in order for me to be with the man of my dreams.
