Courtney's POV:

We looked over to see Sicheng's dad looking at us for an explanation while his mom just looked at us in pure shock. "So son, what is all of this about?" His dad said to Sicheng. He stood in front of me protectively. "You heard what I said, she is the woman I really love, I have no feelings for Li Yin, not at all." He said. He pulled me forward as I was at a loss for words while they looked at me. "So you really weren't here to cater afterall?" His mom said. I nodded and looked down at my hands nervously, ready for the punishment.

"I had my suspicions from the beginning to be honest. The way you looked at my son and the way he talked about you. I could tell you two had feelings for each other." His mom admitted. The dad looked confused as he had no idea this whole time while we just looked at her in shock. "Guess we did a bad job at hiding it huh?" Sicheng laughed. They nodded and laughed, surprisingly not angry with us which made me confused.

"So you're not mad?" I asked. They took a moment to respond but nodded a no to us, making us relieved. "But dad what about your deal with Li Yin's dad?" Sicheng said about the time that the man came over and yelled at him and called the deal off. "Yeah deal is over and you know what, I'm glad. I don't want my son marrying a woman who isn't good to him and someone he doesn't love. He clearly loves this lovely girl he's met right here and she makes him happy so that is what matters. Why don't you just run off and go cry to your butlers? Deal is over." His dad said, shocking me and Sicheng.

Sicheng held onto me as we looked at the exchange between the two before the man stormed off angrily. I leaned over and smiled at Sicheng before kissing him deeply. "I love you." I said. "I love you too." He said back, smiling at me. "Never leave me again okay." I said. "I won't ever leave you again, I promise." He said before kissing me again and again before his parents interrupted. "Well we kind of spent all of this money on this wedding, it would be a shame to let it all go to waste." His dad said.

I raised an eyebrow as I looked from him to Sicheng. He looked at his dad as if they knew what was happening when no one else did and he smiled at him gently before looking back to me. He pulled something out of his pocket as he spoke. "I know we haven't known each other a long time but in my heart I've known you for an eternity. You mean everything to me and I will never upset you or hurt you ever again. I know I don't deserve you after all that happened. But while we are here right now while you're looking beautiful as ever my love-" he said before getting down on one knee as I gasped.

"Courtney, will you marry me?" He said, a tear falling from his eye as I felt the same. My heart fluttered as I looked at the beautiful ring in his hand as he stared at me in admiration. "Yes." I cried. His eyes widened as he jumped up. "Yes! A thousand times yes!" I cried even more. He put the ring on my finger as he cried while the people who remained at the wedding cheered loudly. He stood up quickly and kissed me so passionately that my heart felt as if were to explode.

I threw my chef coat away to reveal my beautiful white dress I had worn underneath it, having no idea that it would be this perfect for the situation. Everyone gasped and clapped while Sicheng looked at me in awe. "Allow me to walk you down the isle." Sicheng's dad offered. I smiled and accepted as Sicheng stood at the alter. Sicheng's dad took me to the door quickly as everyone took a seat. The music started playing as I looked at Sicheng who stared back at me. As I made it to the alter, I smiled at him brightly.

Before I knew it, I was married to the love of my life, a man who was to take care of me for years and years to come as I was to do the same to him. We kissed for what seemed like forever as the rest of the world faded away. I couldn't believe all of this had happened and that I had truly found love at first sight.
